ऊर्जा मानव जीवन का अभिन्न अंग है। ऊर्जा के बिना मानव जीवन की कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती। समस्त संसार गतिमान है वह इसका मुख्य कारण ऊर्जा है। ब्रह्मांड में ऊर्जा का मुख्य स्रोत सूर्य है। सूर्य में नाभिकीय संलयन के कारण ही ऊर्जा पैदा होती है। वर्तमान समय में ऊर्जा की पूर्ति के लिए नाभिकीय संलयन की क्रियाओं को समझना और जानना अति आवश्यक हो जाता है।
डीसीआरयूएसटी, मुरथल में भौतिकी के असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डाॅ. प्रदीप सिंह ने नाभिकीय संलयन पर शोध कार्य किया। उन्होंने ऐसे नाभिकों पर शोध कार्य किया, जो स्वयं कम ऊर्जा से बंधे हुए हैं। इनका संलयन कम ऊर्जा पर भी संभव है। विश्व की प्रयोगशालाओं में इन नाभिकों पर जो संलयन रिएक्शन किए गए उनके परिणामों को मौजूदा थ्योरी व सूत्र की मदद से पूरी तरह समझा नहीं जा रहा था। ये सूत्र तर्कसंगतता पर शत प्रतिशत खरे नहीं उतरे। लेकिन डा. प्रदीप सिंह व शोधार्थी नेहा द्वारा दिया गया नया सूत्र एनपी 20 प्रयोगशालाओं से मिले परिणामों की तर्कसंगतता पर खरा उतरता है। डाॅ. प्रदीप सिंह के अनुसंधान को यूएस, जापान, कोरिया, हांगकॉग व कनाडा आदि देश के वैज्ञानिकों और प्रोफेसरों ने रेफर किया है।
डाॅ. सिंह ने किया 36 रिएक्शनोंपर शोध
डाॅ.प्रदीप सिंह ने नाभिकीय (न्यूट्रान और प्रोटोन का संयुक्त रूप) की संख्या 6 से लेकर 209 तक कंबिनेशन बनाकर शोध कार्य किया। नाभिकों की अपनी बनावट का प्रभाव फ्यूजन पर होगा या नहीं , इस विषय पर भी अनुसंधान किया गया। उन्होंने 36 रिएक्शनों पर शोध कार्य किया सकारात्मक परिणाम सामने आए। जिससे यह शोध कार्य इस क्षेत्र में कार्य कर रहे शोधार्थियों के लिए संदर्भ ग्रंथ की तरह कार्य करेगा। इन परिणामों से शोधार्थियों को आगे अनुसंधान करने में भी मद्द मिलेगी।
कम ऊर्जा पर बढ़ी फ्यूजन होने की संभावना
डाॅ. प्रदीप सिंह ने अपने अनुसंधान में पाया कि कम ऊर्जा पर फ्यूजन होने की संभावना ज्यादा होती है, जबकि ज्यादा एनर्जी पर फ्यूजन की संभावना कम हुई है। उन्होंने सामान्यत: से ज्यादा ऊर्जा पर पाए जाने वाली नाभिकीय सतह के संयोजन से फ्यूजन की संभावना 74 प्रतिशत ज्यादा पाई गई, लेकिन एलिमेंट का आकार सामान्यत: से ज्यादा होने पर, उसके एक डयूट्रोन के दूसरे में स्थानांतरण होने के कारण नाभिकीय फ्यूजन होने की संभावना कम होकर 23 प्रतिशत रह जाती है। ज्यादा ऊर्जा पर फ्यूजन होने की संभावना 36 प्रतिशत कम हो जाती है। डाॅ. सिंह का शोधपत्र नाभिकीय क्रियाओं के क्षेत्र में ख्याति प्राप्त जर्नल न्यूक्लीयर फिजिक्स में प्रकाशित हो चुका है।
शोधार्थियों के लिए बनेगें प्रेरणा स्रोत : प्रो.खासा
विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. सतीश खासा ने कहा कि डॉ. प्रदीप सिंह व उनके शोधार्थियों द्वारा किया गया कार्य विश्व के मानकों पर खरा उतरता है। वर्तमान व भविष्य की ऊर्जा आवश्यकता पूर्तियों की निश्चितता तय करने की तरफ यह एक कदम है। इस प्रकार के शोध दूसरे अनुसंधान कर्ताओं के लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत का कार्य करेंगे।
वैश्विक सत्र पर स्वीकार्यता से पता चलता है शोध की गुणवत्ता का : कुलपति प्रो.अनायत
कुलपति प्रो. राजेंद्र कुमार अनायत ने कहा कि भौतिकी में हो रहे अनुसंधान कार्य से विश्वविद्यालय की शोध गुणवत्ता का पता चलता है। विश्वविद्यालय के अनुसंधान कार्य को विकसित देशों के प्रोफेसर और वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा रेफर करने से स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि डीसीआरयूएसटी के शोध को वैश्विक सत्र पर स्वीकार्यता मिली है। उन्होंने कहा कि शोध विश्वविद्यालय की रीड होता है। विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा अनुसंधानकर्ताओं को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाई जा रही हैं।
