फैशन डिजाइनर सिमर दुग्गल का निधन हो गया है। डिजाइनर सिमर दुग्गल फैशन की दुनिया में एक जानी मानी नाम थी। उन्होंने कई बॉलीवुड हस्तियों के लिए कपड़े डिजाइन किए थे जिनमें करीना कपूर खान, मलाइका अरोड़ा और आलिया भट्ट हैं। अभिनेत्री मलाइका अरोड़ा ने सोशल मीडिया पर सिमर दुग्गल की कई तस्वीरों के साथ एक इमोशनल नोट शेयर किया है। फैशन डिजाइनर सिमर दुग्गल ने 12 अगस्त को दुनिया को अलविदा कह दिया। उनके असामयिक निधन से उनके दोस्तों को सदमा लगा है। अभिनेत्री और मॉडल मलाइका अरोड़ा ने इंस्टाग्राम पर एक भावुक संदेश के साथ अपने दोस्त के जाने पर शोक व्यक्त किया।
मलाइका ने इंस्टाग्राम पर सिमर के साथ कुछ तस्वीरें शेयर कर लिखा-‘मेरी आंखें भर आई हैं और मैं आँसू नहीं रोक सकती… मेरी खूबसूरत दोस्त, मेरी परी, मेरी सबसे मजबूत, मेरी सबसे दयालु सिम सिमर दुग्गल… मैं तुमसे बहुत प्यार करती हूं और तुम्हारी बहुत याद आएगी… तुम्हारी आत्मा को शांति मिले मेरी दोस्त।’ मलाइका अरोड़ा के दोस्त सोशल मीडिया पर उनके दुख के समय में उन्हें सांत्वना देते नजर आए। मलाइका के पोस्ट पर श्वेता बच्चन ने टूटे हुए दिल की इमोजी शेयर की है। सोफी चौधरी ने लिखा-‘ओएमजी… मुझे यह सुनकर बहुत दुख हुआ। तुम्हारी आत्मा को शांति मिले खूबसूरत सिमर।’ विक्रम फडनिस ने अपनी संवेदना साझा करते हुए लिखा-‘विश्वास नहीं कर सकता…।’
मलाइका की बहन अमृता अरोड़ा ने भी अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी और उन्होंने लिखा-‘तुम्हारी आत्मा को शांति मिले हमारी सबसे प्यारी सिम। भावना पांडे, सीमा खान और मनीष मल्होत्रा ने भी मलाइका अरोड़ा खान के पोस्ट पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी। वर्ष 2020 फैशन और बॉलीवुड इंडस्ट्री के लिए एक दुखद वर्ष रहा है। इस साल इंडस्ट्री के कई कलाकारों ऋषि कपूर, इरफान खान, सुशांत सिंह राजपूत, सरोज खान, वाजिद खान, बसु चटर्जी सहित अन्य को खो दिया है।
