हरियाणा से जाते श्रद्धाजंलि देने विजय घाट जाते किसानेां को सिंघु बॉर्डर दिल्ली पर रोका तो वहां पर किसानों रोष प्रकट किया। वे पूर्व प्रधान मन्त्री स्वर्गीय लाल बहादुर शास्त्री को उनकी जयन्ती पर श्रद्वांजलि देने विजय घाट पर जा रहे थे। भारतीय किसान युनियन (अम्बावत ग्रुप ) को दिल्ली एवं हरियाणा पुलिस ने सिंघु बॉर्डर दिल्ली पर रोक लिया ताकि कोई भी किसान दिल्ली की सीमा में प्रवेश न कर सके।
भाकियू के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव शमशेर दहिया के नेतृत्व में इक्ठठे हुए किसानों ने सरकार विरोधी नारे लगाऐ और सरकार को कोसा। उन्होंने कहा कि किसानों एवं जवानों के मसीहा लाल बहादुर शास्त्री की समाधी पर नहीं जाने देना किसानों का अपमान है। शमशेर दहिया ने कहा कि उन्होंने पहले ही आला अधिकारियों को लिखित में सूचना दी थी कि वह हर साल की तरह इस साल भी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करने विजय घाट जाऐंगे। लेकिन हरियाणा और दिल्ली पुलिस के आला अधिकारियों ने उन्हें जाने से मना कर दिया जिसके चलते किसानों में गुस्सा है।
किसानों का कहना है कि ऐसी मनमानी कर सरकार सफल नहीं हो सकती ।किसानों को हर तरह से दबाया जा रहा है साथ ही उन्होंने सरकार के कृषि अध्यादेशों की आलोचना करते हुए कहा कि इन अध्यादेशों से देश का अन्नदाता विनाश के कगार पर पहुंच जाऐगा । सरकार दम भर भरी है कि किसानों की फसलों का एक एक दाना खरीदा जाऐगा मगर फसलों से मण्डीयाँ भरी हुई हैं और खरीद दार कोई नहीं है । वे इन अध्यादेशों का विरोध करते हैं । बलजिन्दर बाजवा, अजीत , अनिल , वेद सिंह आन्तिल,भरत सिंह खत्री आदि किसान मौजुद थे।
