उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने किसानों के गणतंत्र दिवस पर ट्रैक्टर-परेड की घोषणा के चलते जिला में शांति तथा कानून एवं व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के लिए प्रशासनिक-पुलिस-विभागीय अधिकारी तालमेल बनाये रखें। वे मोतीलाल नेहरू स्कूल ऑफ स्पोर्टस राई (एमएनएसएस) में पैरा मिलिट्री फोर्स, प्रशासनिक, पुलिस व विभागीय अधिकारियों की संयुक्त बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे इनके साथ पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा भी रहे।

उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने किसानों के गणतंत्र दिवस पर ट्रैक्टर-परेड की घोषणा के चलते जिला में शांति तथा कानून एवं व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के लिए प्रशासनिक-पुलिस-विभागीय अधिकारी तालमेल बनाये रखें। वे मोतीलाल नेहरू स्कूल ऑफ स्पोर्टस राई (एमएनएसएस) में पैरा मिलिट्री फोर्स, प्रशासनिक, पुलिस व विभागीय अधिकारियों की संयुक्त बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे इनके साथ पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा भी रहे।
उपायुक्त पूनिया ने कहा कि कुछ स्थानीय किसान संगठनों ने जिला में होने वाले गणतंत्र दिवस समारोहों को प्रभावित करने की घोषणा की है। कुंडली बार्डर के साथ जिला में बंदोबस्त करने होंगे। राष्ट्रीय पर्व गणतंत्र की जय हो, हमारे जिले की बदनामी ना हो। सरपंचों व इंडस्ट्रियल एसोसिएशन की बैठक लें, ताकि ट्रैक्टर परेड के दौरान प्रशासन को सहयोग मिल सके। बातचीत का क्रम नहीं टूटना चाहिए। साथ ही उन्होंने धरनास्थल पर आवश्यक सुविधाएं जारी रखी जाए।
पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा ने ट्रैक्टर परेड की घोषणा के दृष्टिगत सभी अधिकारी अपनी ड्यूटी सूझ-बूझ के साथ कर रहे हैं। दिल्ली पुलिस ने किसानों को अनुमति नहीं दी तो ऐसी स्थिति में कुंडली बार्डर पर स्थिति से निपटने के लिए तैयार रहना होगा। 26 जनवरी के दृष्टिगत फोर्स की पुर्नतैनाती की जा रही है। पैरा मिलिट्री फोर्स के अधिकारियों से भी सुझाव मांगे।
नगर निगम के आयुक्त जगदीश शर्मा, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मुनीश शर्मा, आईएएस अधिकारी सलोनी शर्मा, एएसपी उदय सिंह मीना, एएसपी निकिता खट्टर, एसडीएम विजय सिंह, एसडीएम सुरेंद्रपाल, एसडीएम आशीष कुमार, नगराधीश जितेंद्र जोशी, डीएसपी डा. रविंद्र कुमार, डीएसपी जोगेंद्र राठी, डीएसपी विरेंद्र सिंह, डीएसपी हंसराज, डीएसपी विपिन कादयान सहित अन्य अधिकारीगण मौजूद थे।
