डीजल की कीमत सोमवार को केरल और कर्नाटक में 100 रुपये प्रति लीटर के स्तर को पार कर गई क्योंकि अंतरराष्ट्रीय तेल की कीमतों में मजबूती के साथ घरेलू दरों को संरेखित करने के लिए ईंधन की कीमतों में फिर से बढ़ोतरी की गई।
नई दिल्ली: डीजल की कीमत सोमवार को केरल और कर्नाटक में 100 रुपये प्रति लीटर के स्तर को पार कर गई क्योंकि अंतरराष्ट्रीय तेल की कीमतों में मजबूती के साथ घरेलू दरों को संरेखित करने के लिए ईंधन की कीमतों में फिर से बढ़ोतरी की गई। राज्य के स्वामित्व वाले ईंधन खुदरा विक्रेताओं की मूल्य अधिसूचना के अनुसार, पेट्रोल की कीमत में 30 पैसे प्रति लीटर और डीजल में 35 पैसे प्रति लीटर की बढ़ोतरी की गई। मूल्य वृद्धि के सातवें सीधे दिन ने ईंधन दरों को एक नई रिकॉर्ड ऊंचाई पर पहुंचा दिया। अधिसूचना में दिल्ली में पेट्रोल की कीमत 104.44 रुपये प्रति लीटर और मुंबई में 110.41 रुपये प्रति लीटर के उच्चतम स्तर पर पहुंच गई।
मुंबई में, डीजल अब 101.03 रुपये प्रति लीटर के लिए आता है; जबकि दिल्ली में इसकी कीमत 93.17 रुपये है। जबकि देश के अधिकांश हिस्सों में पेट्रोल की कीमत पहले से ही 100 रुपये प्रति लीटर से ऊपर है, डीजल की दरें कई राज्यों में उस स्तर को पार कर गई हैं, जिसमें केरल और कर्नाटक नवीनतम हैं। तिरुवनंतपुरम में डीजल की कीमत 100.15 रुपये प्रति लीटर है। शिमोगा और दावणगेरे सहित कर्नाटक के कुछ शहरों में भी सोमवार को यह स्तर देखा गया। हालांकि बेंगलुरु में डीजल 98.85 रुपये प्रति लीटर आता है।

लगातार छह दिनों के लिए पेट्रोल की कीमत में 30 पैसे प्रति लीटर और डीजल की कीमतों में 35 पैसे की बढ़ोतरी की गई है, जो दरों में सबसे बड़ी रैली है। इससे पहले पेट्रोल की कीमत में 25 पैसे और डीजल में 30 पैसे की बढ़ोतरी की गई थी। इसका कारण यह है कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय बेंचमार्क ब्रेंट क्रूड 80 अमेरिकी डॉलर प्रति बैरल से अधिक के सात साल के उच्च स्तर पर पहुंच गया है, क्योंकि उत्पादक कार्टेल ओपेक + ने प्रति दिन 0.4 मिलियन बैरल से अधिक उत्पादन नहीं बढ़ाने का फैसला किया है।
एक महीने पहले ब्रेंट 72 डॉलर प्रति बैरल के आसपास था। तेल का शुद्ध आयातक होने के नाते, भारत पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतें अंतरराष्ट्रीय कीमतों के बराबर दरों पर रखता है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय तेल की कीमतों में उछाल ने 28 सितंबर को पेट्रोल और 24 सितंबर को डीजल के लिए दरों में तीन सप्ताह के अंतराल को समाप्त कर दिया। तब से डीजल के दाम 4.35 रुपये प्रति लीटर और पेट्रोल के दाम 3.25 रुपये बढ़े हैं। जुलाई/अगस्त कीमतों में कटौती से पहले 4 मई से 7 जुलाई के बीच पेट्रोल की कीमत में 11.44 रुपये प्रति लीटर की बढ़ोतरी की गई थी। इस दौरान डीजल की कीमत 9.14 रुपये बढ़ी थी।
