उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा हे कि रबी सीजन के अंतर्गत फसलों की खरीद एक अप्रैल से प्रारंभ की जाएगी, जिला सोनीपत में 23 स्थानों पर गेहूं की खरीद की जाएगी। चार मंडियां तथा 19 खरीद केंद्र शामिल किये गए हैं। फसलों का भुगतान सीधे किसानों के खातों में होगा। बुधवार को लघु सचिवालय में आढ़तियों व संबंधित अधिकारियों की बैठक को संबोधित कर रहे थे।

उन्होंने कहा कि सरसों की खरीद केवल सोनीपत की मंडी में की जाएगी। जबकि गेहूं की खरीद के लिए 23 स्थान निर्धारित किये गये हैं। सभी खरीद केंद्रों में बिजली, पानी, शौचालय तथा सफाई आदि मूल सुविधाओं को सुदृढ़ किया जाए। कोविड-19 से बचाव के बंदोबस्त किये जायें। मंडियों में विशेष रूप से मास्क व सैनेटाईजर का प्रयोग किया जाए।

उपायुक्त ने बारदाना की व्यवस्था के लिए निर्देश दिए है कि निर्धारित समयावधि में उठान सुनिश्चित किया जाए। आढ़तियों की मांंग पर उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि चिन्हित धर्मकांटों की जांच की जाए। एसडीएम के निर्देशन में अधिकृत कांटों की जांच कर सत्यापित किया जाए। अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त अशोक कुमार बंसल, गन्नौर के एसडीएम विश्राम मीणा, गोहाना के एसडीएम प्रदीप कुमार, सोनीपत की एसडीएम शशि वसुंधरा, खरखौदा की एसडीएम डा. अनमोल, जिला राजस्व अधिकारी राजकुमार सिंह, डीएफएससी सुरेंद्र अरोड़ा, संजय वर्मा सहित आढ़ती एसोसिएशनों के पदाधिकारी तथा संंबंधित अधिकारीगण मौजूद थे।
