पुलिस अधीक्षक सोनीपत जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा ने अपने सभी पर्यवेक्षण अधिकारियों एवं थानाध्यक्षों को निर्देश दिये हैं कि अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में कावड़ संघ व जनता के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ मीटिंग कर उन्हें अवगत कराये कि इस बार उत्तराखण्ड सरकार द्वारा कावड़ लाने के लिये प्रतिबन्ध लगाया गया है तो कावड़ लेने न जाये।

उत्तराखण्ड सरकार द्वारा प्रतिबंध लगाया गया है, यदि कोई व्यक्ति जाता है तो 15 दिन के लिये किया जायेगा क्वारन्टाईन, धारा-144 की उल्लंघना करने वालो के विरूद्ध की कार्यवाही जायेगी । पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा लघु सचिवालय स्थित अंतर्राज्यीय वीडियो काॅन्फ्रेंस में पुलिस प्रशासन के अधिकारियों की मीटिंग हुई। जिसमें उत्तराखंड, यूपी, हरियाणा, दिल्ली, पंजाब के अधिकारी शामिल हुए। कोरोना महामारी को मध्यनजर रखते हुये इस बार कावड़ न लेने जाने की अपील की गई तथा उत्तराखण्ड सरकार द्वारा प्रतिबन्ध लगाया गया है, अगर कोई व्यक्ति कावड़ लेने के लिये जाता है तो उत्तराखण्ड सरकार द्वारा उसे 15 दिन के लिये क्वारन्टाईन किया जायेगा और धारा-144 की उल्लघंना करने वालों के विरूद्ध कानूनी कार्यवाही की जायेगी।
