अगर मरीजों की संख्या में वृद्धि जारी रही तो सख्त प्रतिबंध होंगे। सख्त प्रतिबंधों से बचने के लिए, सभी को मानदंडों का पालन करना चाहिए। उपमुख्यमंत्री की टिप्पणी महाराष्ट्र द्वारा 8,067 ताजा कोविड -19 सकारात्मक मामलों की रिपोर्ट के एक दिन बाद आई है।
महाराष्ट्र की राजधानी मुंबई, एक नागरिक अधिकारी के अनुसार, इससे पहले शुक्रवार को 5,631 नए कोरोनोवायरस मामले सामने आए, जो 2021 के अंतिम दिन शहर में केसलोएड को 7,85,110 तक ले गए।
