स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने कहा, “भारत का COVID-19 टीकाकरण कवरेज आज 137 करोड़ मील के पत्थर (137,37,66,189) को पार कर गया है। 69 लाख (69,21,097) से अधिक वैक्सीन की खुराक आज शाम 7 बजे तक दी गई है। दैनिक टीकाकरण टैली आज देर रात तक दिन के लिए अंतिम रिपोर्ट के संकलन के साथ इसके बढ़ने की उम्मीद है।
भारत में ओमाइक्रोन उछाल
कर्नाटक और केरल में क्रमशः छह और चार मामले दर्ज किए जाने के बाद देश में ओमाइक्रोन के मामले बढ़कर 143 हो गए, जबकि महाराष्ट्र में आठ और व्यक्तियों ने कोरोनावायरस संस्करण के लिए पॉजिटिव परीक्षण किया। इसके अतिरिक्त, तेलंगाना में, शनिवार को नए कोरोनावायरस संस्करण के लिए पॉजिटिव परीक्षण करने वाले 12 और लोगों के साथ ओमाइक्रोन मामलों की संख्या बढ़कर 20 हो गई, समाचार एजेंसी पीटीआई ने बताया।
केंद्र और राज्य के अधिकारियों के अनुसार, 11 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों – महाराष्ट्र (48), दिल्ली (22), राजस्थान (17) और कर्नाटक (14), तेलंगाना (20), गुजरात (7), में ओमाइक्रोन मामलों का पता चला है। केरल (11), आंध्र प्रदेश (1), चंडीगढ़ (1), तमिलनाडु (1) और पश्चिम बंगाल (1)।
