भारत में कोरोना का कहर बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। देश में कोरोना मरीजों की संख्या 40 लाख को पार कर चुकी है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी किये गए आंकड़ों की माने तो पिछले 24 घंटों में (शुक्रवार सुबह 8 बजे से लेकर शनिवार सुबह 8 बजे तक) 86,432 नए केस सामने आए हैं। यह एक दिन में आए अब तक के सबसे ज्यादा मामले हैं। जिसके पश्चात कुल मरीजों के आंकड़े 40 लाख की गंभीर संख्या को पार करते हुए 40,23,179 पर पहुंच गई है। आज की स्थिति तो भारत जल्द ही ब्राज़ील को पीछे छोड़कर दूसरे स्थान पर पहुँच सकता है। अमेरिका में सबसे ज्यादा केस है।
