मोहाना थाना प्रभारी अशोक कुमार ने कहा कि पुलिस पब्लिक का तालमेल हो तो अपराध पर अंकुश लगेगा इसके जागरुक होने की जरुरत है। पुलिस-पब्लिक संबंधों का बेहतर बनाना आवश्यक है। आमजन की मदद से ही अपराध रुकेगा।

वह मोहाना में ग्रामीणों और दुकानदारों के साथ बैठक कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि दुकानदार शाम के समय अपनी दुकानों में असामाजिक तत्वों को बैठाकर शराब न पिलाएं और अपनी दुकानों को समय अनुसार बंद करें। अगर किसी भी प्रकार का कोई असामाजिक तत्व नजर आए तो उसकी सूचना तुरंत पुलिस को दें।
पुलिस सदैव उनकी सहायता के लिए तत्पर है। उन्होंने कहा कि समाज में नशा रूपी बुराई तेजी से फैल रही है। जिस पर अंकुश लगाना जरूरी है। अगर कोई नशीला पदार्थ बेचता है तो इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दें। उन्होंने ग्रामीणों का कहा कि वह अपने क्षेत्र में ज्यादा से ज्यादा सीसीटीवी लगवाएं, ताकि अपराधिक वारदात होने पर अपराधियों तक जल्द पहुंचा जा सके।
