नई दिल्ली जीजेडी न्यूज ब्यूरो): ऑन-कैंपस कक्षाओं को फिर से खोलने की मांग कर रहे छात्रों के चल रहे विरोध के मद्देनजर, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय ने बुधवार को कहा कि वह 17 फरवरी से कक्षाएं फिर से शुरू करेगा।
निर्णय प्रॉक्टर प्रोफेसर रजनी अब्बी द्वारा साझा किया गया था।
समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई ने बताया, “दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय 17 फरवरी से फिर से खुल जाएगा, प्रॉक्टर प्रो. रजनी अब्बी ने छात्रों के प्रदर्शन के बाद घोषणा की। हालाँकि, विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा कोई आधिकारिक संचार नहीं किया गया है कि कैसे चल रहे कोविड खतरे के बीच परिसर को फिर से शुरू करने की योजना है। दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा अब तक कोई दिशानिर्देश, प्रोटोकॉल और एसओपी की घोषणा नहीं की गई है।

छात्रों द्वारा आयोजित विरोध प्रदर्शन पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए, डीयू के कुलपति योगेश सिंह ने कहा था कि तैयारियों के स्तर का जायजा लेने के बाद विश्वविद्यालय फिर से खुल जाएगा।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि विरोध करने वाले छात्र “अनावश्यक रूप से अधीर” हो रहे थे और इतने बड़े निर्णय के लिए कई कारकों पर विचार करने की आवश्यकता थी।
राजधानी शहर में दैनिक कोविड केसलोएड में गिरावट के बावजूद परिसर बंद रहने के बाद छात्रों का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा। छात्रों ने यह भी बताया कि राजधानी के अन्य विश्वविद्यालयों जैसे जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय और अम्बेडकर विश्वविद्यालय दिल्ली ने पहले ही 100% फिर से खोलने की घोषणा की है।
इस बीच, दिल्ली आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण ने पहले ही कक्षा 9-12 के लिए स्कूलों के साथ-साथ उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों और कोचिंग सेंटरों को फिर से खोलने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
