नगरवासियों की समस्याओं के समाधान और सोनीपत के चहुंमुखी विकास के लिए हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने निगमायुक्त को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर किये जाने वाले विकास कार्यों की सूची सौंपी हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सूची में शामिल विकास कार्यों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर पूरा किया जाए। साथ ही उन्होंने जारी विकास कार्यों को भी तीव्र गति प्रदान करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
सोनीपत के विकास को समर्पित पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार एवं भाजपा नेता राजीव जैन ने शनिवार को नगर निगम के आयुक्त जगदीश शर्मा से विशेष भेंंट की। विकास कार्यों पर चर्चा की। उन्होंने निगमायुक्त को स्वीकृत 11 विकास कार्यों की सूची सौंंपी। इनमें तीन ऐसे विकास कार्य शामिल रहे जो मुख्यमंत्री घोषणाओं में सम्मिलित हैं। जैन ने प्राथमिकता के आधार पर किये जाने वाले विकास कार्यों में प्रमुख रूप से मिशन चौक से कालूपुर चुंगी तक रोड की मरम्मत तथा टेलिफोन एक्सचेंज से गीता भवन चौक तक प्रेशर सीवर लाइन के बदलने, सेक्टर-12 मेंं ऑडिटोरियम का निर्माण, बिजनेस सेंंटर का निर्माण और रेललाइन पर माल गोदाम से अनाज मंडी तक फुटओवर ब्रिज का निर्माण शामिल है।
इसके साथ ही उन्होंने सूची में बहालगढ़ रोड स्थित लेजर वैली पार्क में स्वतंत्रता सेनानी स्मारक की स्थापना, बस क्यू शैल्टर, शहर के प्रवेशद्वार, लहराड़ा से ककरोई रोड तक लिंक रोड का निर्माण तथा हरसाना व देवडू में डेयरी कॉम्पलेक्स का निर्माण और गीता भवन चौक पर पार्किंग का निर्माण कार्य को शामिल किया है। इनमें तीन विकास कार्य मुख्यमंत्री घोषणाओं के तहत पूरे किये जाने हैं, जिनमें सेक्टर-12 मेंं ऑडिटोरियम का निर्माण, बिजनेस सेंंटर का निर्माण और रेललाइन पर माल गोदाम से अनाज मंडी तक फुटओवर ब्रिज का निर्माण शामिल है।
