कुलपति ने प्रतिभागियों से आह्वान किया कि वे विशेषज्ञों के साथ उचित तालमेल से इस प्रशिक्षण का अधिक से अधिक लाभ उठाएं। ये विचार विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर बी.आर. काम्बोज ने तीन दिवसीय ऑनलाइन प्रशिक्षण के शुभारंभ अवसर पर बतौर मुख्यातिथि व्यक्त किए। उन्होंने कहा कि यह बहुत ही हर्ष का विषय है कि इस प्रशिक्षण में अफगानिस्तान के सभी कृषि विश्वविद्यालय के अधिष्ठाता, निदेशक, विभागाध्यक्ष, औद्योगिक इकाइयों, कृषि व इससे संबंधित अन्य विभागों के अधिकारी शामिल हैं।
प्रशिक्षण की रूपरेखा के बारे में परिचय करवाया
उन्होंने प्रतिभागियों से आह्वान किया कि वे इस प्रशिक्षण का अधिक से अधिक लाभ उठाएं और यहां से हासिल ज्ञान को अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में व्यावहारिक रूप से लागू करें। उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय की उन्नत किस्मों व तकनीकों को अपनाने की सलाह दी। अनुसंधान निदेशक डॉ. एस.के. सहरावत ने बताया कि प्रशिक्षण का मुख्य विषय कृषि में आधारभूत एवं आधुनिक लैब व फार्म तकनीकों का प्रयोग रखा गया है। उन्होंने इस प्रशिक्षण की रूपरेखा के बारे में परिचय करवाया।
विभिन्न तकनीकों से कराया अवगत
स्नातकोत्तर अधिष्ठाता एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय मामलों के इंचार्ज डॉ. अतुल ढींगड़ा ने बताया कि इस प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन अमेरिका के वर्जिनिया टैक विश्वविद्यालय के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में ऑनलाइन किया जा रहा है जिसमें युनाइटेड स्टेट एजेंसी फॉर इंटरनेशनल डेवलपमेंट के अधिकारियों व अमेरिका के वर्जिनिया टैक विश्वविद्यालय से जुड़े नूर एम सिद्दक्की का विशेष योगदान है।
कुल 125 प्रतिभागी हिस्सा ले रहे हैं
प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन युनाइटेड स्टेट एजेंसी फॉर इंटरनेशनल डेवलपमेंट के आर्थिक सहयोग से कैटेलाइजिंग अफगान एग्रीकल्चर इनोवेशन प्रोजेक्ट के तहत विश्वविद्यालय के अंतरराष्ट्रीय मामलों के विभाग व अनुसंधान निदेशालय के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में करवाया जा रहा है। प्रशिक्षण के प्रथम दिन डॉ. एस.एस. पूनियां ने खरपतवार नियंत्रण की तकनीकों और परिसीजन फार्मिंग के बारे में विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी दी। डॉ. एस.के. ठकराल ने परम्परागत के साथ आधुनिक कृषि तकनीक व प्रणालियों का प्रयोग करते हुए समन्वित खेती के बारे में बताया। डॉ. रवि गुप्ता ने खाद्य प्रसंस्करण एवं मूल्य संवर्धन तकनीकों से अवगत कराया। अंतरराष्ट्रीय मामलों के संयोजक डॉ. दलविंद्र ने बताया कि इस प्रशिक्षण में अफगानिस्तान के सभी प्रांतों के विश्वविद्यालयों के अधिष्ठाता, निदेशक, विभागाध्यक्ष सहित कुल 125 प्रतिभागी हिस्सा ले रहे हैं।
