उपायुक्त सिवाच ने दिव्यांग के लिए केंद्र सरकार की योजना को लागू करवाने के लिए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं। सभी खंडों के खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारियों, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी, जिला समाज कल्याण अधिकारी, जिला कल्याण अधिकारी तथा अटल सेवा केंद्र के जिला प्रबंधक को पत्र लिखकर निर्देश दिए हैं। आर्टिफिशियल लिंब्स मैन्यूफैक्चरिंग कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (एलिमको) की ओर से दिव्यांगों व वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को कृत्रिम एवं सहायक उपकरण प्रदान किये जा रहे हैं।
अटल सेवा केंद्र के वीएलई (विलेज लेवल एंटरप्रीन्योर) को सरकार की ओर प्रति पंजीकरण पर 40 रुपये दिए जाएंगे, दिव्यांगों व वरिष्ठ नागरिकों से कोई शुल्क नहीं लिया जाएगा। उपायुक्त सिवाच ने कहा कि योजना का लाभ अधिकाधिक दिव्यांगों को मिले। दिव्यांगों के लिए व्हील चेयर, बैसाखी सहित विभिन्न प्रकार के सहायक उपकरण हैं।
