जबकि हर्षवर्धन कोविड की दूसरी लहर के कथित कुप्रबंधन के कारण फायरिंग लाइन में थे, रमेश पोखरियाल ‘निशंक’, डीवी सदानंद गौड़ा, संतोष गंगवार को भी कथित तौर पर उन मंत्रालयों के गैर-प्रदर्शन के लिए पद छोड़ने के लिए कहा गया था जिन्हें वे संभाल रहे थे।
