नगर पालिका गन्नौर के परिसर में भारत विकास परिषद गन्नौर शाखा द्वारा महर्षि वाल्मीकि जयंती व हरियाणा दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर नगरपालिका के सफाई कर्मियों को सम्मानित किया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता गन्नौर शाखा के अध्यक्ष योगेश कौशिक ने की। बतौर मुख्यातिथि गन्नौर थाना प्रभारी वजीर रेढू व विशिष्टातिथि समाजसेवी जोगेंद्र शर्मा रहे। थाना प्रभारी वजीर रेढू व समाजसेवी जोगेंद्र शर्मा ने सभी सफाई कर्मचारियों को कंबल, मास्क व प्रशंसा पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया। रेढू ने परिषद के सभी सदस्यों की सराहना की और कहा कि भाविप के सदस्य तन-मन-धन से देशहित कार्यो में लगे रहते हैं।

उन्होंने सफाई कर्मियों का भी विशेष तौर पर आभार जताते हुए कहा कि सफाई कर्मी खुद के स्वास्थ्य की चिंता किए बिना कूड़ा कचरा साफ कर लोगों को बीमारी से बचाते हैं। उनके सम्मान में जितना किया जाए उतना कम है। समाजसेवी जागेंद्र शर्मा ने कहा सफाई कर्मचारी एवं पुलिस कर्मचारी कोरोना महामारी के दौरान भी अपनी ड्यूटी पर डटे रहे। दोनों ने ही अपनी जान की परवाह किए बिना शहर की सेवा की है। भाविप पदाधिकारियों ने अतिथियों को समृति चिह्न देकर सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर पर तरूण प्रताप त्यागी, राकेश जैन, राजकुमार अग्रवाल, संदीप सिंघल, डा. दीपचंद गर्ग, कृष्ण जिंदल, कार्यवाहक चेयरमैन सुनील लंबू, राजेंद्र कौशिक, पार्षद हरीश मदान सहित महिला सदस्य मौजूद रही।
