थाना गन्नौर पुलिस ने कैलाना पुल से दो अवैध पिस्तौल व जिंदा कारतूस सहित एक बदमाश को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपित परमीत बरोदा, गोहाना का रहने वाला है। आरोपित परमीत पर हत्या, हत्या का प्रयास, जान से मारने की धमकी देकर रंगदारी मांगने, अवैध हथियार रखने जैसे कई मामले दर्ज हैं।

गन्नौर थाना प्रभारी वजीर सिंह रेढू ने बताया कि शनिवार शाम एएसआई जगजीत के नेतृत्व हेड कांस्टेबल रुपेंद्र, सिपाही सुनील, विकास व होमगार्ड दीपक के साथ गश्त कर रहे थे। इस दौरान उन्हें गुप्त सूचना मिली कि स्कार्पियो गाड़ी में सवार परमीत नाम का व्यक्ति नदीमपुर माजरा से कैलाना की तरफ आ रहा है, जिसके पास अवैध हथियार हैं। इस पर एएसआई जगजीत पुलिस टीम के साथ कैलाना पुल पर पहुंचे और नाकाबंदी कर दी। कुछ देर बाद सामने से स्कोर्पियो गाड़ी को आता देखे पुलिस ने स्कोर्पियो गाड़ी को रूकवा कर जांच की तो स्कोर्पियो चालक परमीत के पास से दो अवैध पिस्तौल व एक जिंदा कारतूस मिला।

परमीत ने पूछताछ में कबूल किया कि उसने अवैध हथियारों उत्तरप्रदेश के कैराना से 55 हजार रुपए में खरीदा था। आरोपित पर पहले भी गन्नौर व गोहाना पुलिस थानों में चार मामले दर्ज हैं। आरोपित परमीत को रविवार को अदालत में पेश किया गया, जहां अदालत के आदेश पर उसे जेल भेज दिया गया।
