एडीजीपी हरियाणा तथा हरियाणा स्टेट नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो श्रीकांत जाधव द्वारा प्रदेश से नशे को खत्म करने के उद्देश्य से प्रत्येक जिला में प्रयास समिति की कमेटी का गठन शनिवार को सोनीपत जिला में किया गया है। इससे पहले फतेहाबाद औैर सिरसा जिलों की कमेटियां गठित हो चुकी हैं। प्रयास कमेटी गठित करने के उद्देश्य विभिन्न संस्थाओं की बैठक आईसीआर कोचिंग सेंटर में हुई।
जिला व्यापार मंडल के अध्यक्ष संजय सिंगला को कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष चुना गया, जबकि वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष संजय जैन, महासचिव परिमल कुमार चुने गए। नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो से सतबीर सिंह, प्रताप स्कूल के चेयरमैन धर्मप्रकाश आर्य ने आज की मीटिंग की संयुक्त रूप से अध्यक्षता की। एक स्वर में नशे के खिलाफ एडीजीपी श्रीकांत जाधव के अभियान को सफल बनाने का संकल्प लिया गया।
हरियाणा स्टेट नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो बनने के बाद एक बार फिर उन्होंने नशे की जड़ें काटने के लिए प्रयास संस्था को एक्टिव करते हुए प्रदेशभर में इसकी शाखाएं स्थापित करने की मुहिम छेड़ दी है। मीटिंग में सोनीपत के सामाजिक व धार्मिक संस्थाओं के प्रतिनिधियों वाई के त्यागी, अशोक खत्री, शालू त्यागी,जयबीर गहलावत, देवेन्द्र गौतम आदि मौजूद रहे
