मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने कहा कि शहर में सीवरेज प्रबंधन और पेयजलापूर्ति व्यवस्था को मजबूत करने के लिए अमरूत योजना के तहत मंजूर प्रोजेक्टों की बदौलत आज शहर में आमजन से जुड़ी परेशानियों का समाधान हो रहा है। इसी कड़ी में 40 लाख रुपए की लागत से आदर्श नगर का सीवरेज प्रबंधन दुरुस्त होगा।
सीवरेज प्रबंधन सुधारने की दिशा में काम का आगाज
बुधवार को गांधी चौक के सामने वाली गली में नारियल तोड़कर आदर्श नगर के सीवरेज प्रबंधन सुधारने की दिशा में काम का आगाज किया गया। मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने कहा कि सोनीपत शहर की बढ़ती आबादी और दशकों पहले डली सीवर की लाइन, पीने के पानी की लाइनों पर बढ़ते दबाव को कम करके ठीक करने की तरफ कांग्रेस, इनेलो सरकार में ध्यान नहीं दिया गया। लेकिन भाजपा शासन के दौरान शहरी स्थानीय निकाय मंत्री के नाते कविता जैन ने सोनीपत को न केवल अमरूत योजना के दायरे में लाने में कामयाबी हासिल की, सीवर, पानी की नई लाइन बिछाने तथा पुरानी लाइन बदलने के लिए 100 करोड़ रुपए से ज्यादा राशि के इन प्रोजेक्टों की शुरुवात की ।
उन्होंने कहा कि जानकीदास वाटर वर्क्स मुरथल रोड से आदर्श नगर में जीवन ज्योति स्कूल के पास 56 लाख रुपए की लागत से 700 मीटर 6 इंच पानी की लाइन डलवाई गई है, जिसका लोगों को फायदा पहुंचा है। आवागमन को बेहतर बनाने के लिए आदर्श नगर में 70 लाख रुपए खर्च करते हुए गली-सड़कों का निर्माण हुआ है और लोगों की डिमांड पर नई गलियों के निर्माण के लिए 55 लाख रुपए के एस्टीमेट तैयार हो चुके हैं। आदर्श नगर वेल्फेयर सोसायटी से देवी सिंह, जगदीश शर्मा, नारायण सिंह, रणधीर मलिक, बिजेंद्र पहलवान, बलबीर दहिया, शुभम ढाका, राज आंतिल, मौसम, हरीश आंतिल, प्रवेश आंतिल, अजित कक्कड़ आदि मौजूद रहे।
