कांग्रेस महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी वाद्रा ने मंगलवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ से आग्रह किया कि प्रतापगढ़ जिले में एक निजी चैनल के पत्रकार की संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में हुई मौत के मामले की सीबीआई जांच कराई जाए।
एसएस न्यूज.नई दिल्ली। कांग्रेस महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी वाद्रा ने मंगलवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ से आग्रह किया कि प्रतापगढ़ जिले में एक निजी चैनल के पत्रकार की संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में हुई मौत के मामले की सीबीआई जांच कराई जाए।
उल्लेखनीय है कि एक निजी चैनल के पत्रकार सुलभ श्रीवास्तव की प्रतापगढ़ में 13 जून की रात संदिग्ध हालत में मृत्यु हो गई थी। सुलभ (42) ने शराब माफिया के विरुद्ध खबर चलाने के बाद गत 12 जून को प्रयागराज जोन के अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक को पत्र लिखकर अपनी सुरक्षा की मांग की थी।
प्रियंका ने मुख्यमंत्री को पत्र लिखकर कहा, ‘‘12 जून को सुलभ श्रीवास्तव ने एडीजी (प्रयागराज जोन) को लिखे पत्र में बताया था कि स्थानीय शराब माफिया अवैध शराब पर उनकी खबर से नाराज हैं और उन्हें अपनी और अपने परिवार की सलामती की चिंता है। प्रशासन को पत्र भेजे जाने के एक दिन बाद ही संदिग्ध हालात में वह मृत पाए गए।’’ यह पत्र प्रियंका ने अपने ट्विटर पर भी शेयर किया है। उप्र के प्रतापगढ़ में पत्रकार सुलभ श्रीवास्तव के साथ घटी दुखद घटना दिखाती है कि कानून के राज का इकबाल खत्म हो गया है। जरूरी है कि: मामले की CBI जांच हो, परिवार को आर्थिक सहायता मिले एवं शराब माफियाओं व प्रशासन के गठजोड़ पर निर्णायक चोट की जाए। मुख्यमंत्री जी को मेरा पत्र।

कांग्रेस की उत्तर प्रदेश प्रभारी प्रियंका ने कहा कि सुलभ श्रीवास्तव के परिजन एवं पत्रकार साथियों ने इस मामले की सीबीआई जांच कराने तथा सच सामने लाने की मांग की है।
प्रियंका ने दावा किया, ‘‘उप्र में कई जगहों से जहरीली शराब से मौत होने की खबरें आई हैं। अलीगढ़ से लेकर प्रतापगढ़ तक जहरीली शराब के चलते सैकड़ों लोगों की मृत्यु हो चुकी है। ऐसे में एक पत्रकार द्वारा खबरें दिखाने को लेकर शराब माफ़ियाओं से ख़तरा होने की आशंका बताती है कि प्रदेश में कानून के राज इक़बाल खत्म हो चुका है।’’
उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘इस मामले की सीबीआई जांच होनी चाहिए। प्रदेश भर जड़ जमा चुके शराब माफिया एवं प्रशासन के गठजोड़ पर कार्रवाई की जाए। इसके साथ ही पीड़ित परिवार और मृतक के आश्रितों को तुरंत आर्थिक मदद दी जाए।’’
