आस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व तेज गेंदबाज ब्रेट ली का मानना है कि साउथम्पटन में होने वाले विश्व टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप (डब्लयूटीसी) फाइनल में न्यूजीलैंड का भारत पर पलड़ा भारी रह सकता है क्योंकि कीवी टीम स्विंग गेंदबाजी के अनुकूल परिस्थितियों में खेलने की अधिक आदी हैं।
एसएस न्यूज.दुबई। आस्ट्रेलिया के पूर्व तेज गेंदबाज ब्रेट ली का मानना है कि साउथम्पटन में होने वाले विश्व टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप (डब्लयूटीसी) फाइनल में न्यूजीलैंड का भारत पर पलड़ा भारी रह सकता है क्योंकि कीवी टीम स्विंग गेंदबाजी के अनुकूल परिस्थितियों में खेलने की अधिक आदी हैं। भारत और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच 18 जून से यह ऐतिहासिक मैच खेला जाना है। भारतीय टीम गुरुवार को इंग्लैंड पहुंची जबकि न्यूजीलैंड की टीम अभी मेजबान के खिलाफ दो टेस्ट मैचों की श्रृंखला खेल रही है।
ली ने आईसीसी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट से कहा, ”मुझे लगता है कि दोनों टीमें एक जैसी हैं। मैं हालांकि न्यूजीलैंड के स्वदेश में इसी तरह की परिस्थितियों में खेलने के बारे में सोच रहा हूं।” उन्होंने कहा, ”परिस्थितियां तेज गेंदबाजों, स्विंग गेंदबाजों के अनुकूल हो सकती है। इसलिए यहां मुझे लगता है कि कीवी टीम को फायदा हो सकता है।”

इस दिग्गज तेज गेंदबाज ने कहा, ”केन अधिक रूढ़िवादी कप्तान है। उसके पास क्रिकेट की अच्छी समझ है। मैं उसकी शांतचितता से प्रभावित हूं। वह रूढ़िवादी कप्तान है लेकिन जरूरत पड़ने पर आक्रमण भी करता है। वह धैर्य बनाकर रखता है और यह उसके और उसकी टीम के काम आता है। ”
