रूस के स्टार टेनिस खिलाड़ी डेनिल मेदवेदेव ने फ्रेंच ओपन टेनिस टूर्नामेंट के तीसरे दौर में प्रवेश कर लिया है। मेदवेदेव ने दूसरे दौर के मुकाबले में अमेरिकी खिलाड़ी टॉमी पॉल को 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 से शिकस्त देकर तीसरे दौर में प्रवेश किया।
एसएस न्यूज.पेरिस। रूस के स्टार टेनिस खिलाड़ी डेनिल मेदवेदेव ने फ्रेंच ओपन टेनिस टूर्नामेंट के तीसरे दौर में प्रवेश कर लिया है। मेदवेदेव ने दूसरे दौर के मुकाबले में अमेरिकी खिलाड़ी टॉमी पॉल को 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 से शिकस्त देकर तीसरे दौर में प्रवेश किया। मेदवेदेव ने दूसरे दौर में पहला सेट गंवाने के बाद बेहतरीन वापसी करते हुए जीत अपने नाम की। तीसरे दौर के मुकाबले में अब मेदवेदेव का सामना अमेरिका के ही रिली ओपेल्का से होगा।
इससे पहले, बुधवार को खेले गए अन्य मुकाबलों में पांचवीं वरीयता प्राप्त स्टेफानोस सितसिपास और छठी वरीयता प्राप्त एलेक्जेंडर ज्वेरेव सीधे सेटों में जीत के साथ तीसरे दौर में पहुंच गए। सितसिपास ने प्रेडो मार्टिनेज को 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 से हराया, जबकि ज्वेरेव ने रूसी क्वालीफायर रोमन सफीउलिन को 7-6 (4), 6-3, 7-6 (1) से मात दी। गुरुवार रात को पुरुष एकल के अन्य बड़े तीन मुकाबलों में नोवाक जोकोविच, राफेल नडाल और रोजर फेडरर एक्शन में होंगे।
