भारत के दो बार के ओलंपिक पदक विजेता पहलवान सुशील कुमार को आज दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। सुशील के साथी अजय को भी पकड़ लिया गया है। दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने उन्हें दिल्ली के मुंडका इलाके से गिरफ्तार किया है।
एसएस न्यूज.नई दिल्ली। भारत के दो बार के ओलंपिक पदक विजेता पहलवान सुशील कुमार को आज दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। सुशील के साथी अजय को भी पकड़ लिया गया है। दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने उन्हें दिल्ली के मुंडका इलाके से गिरफ्तार किया है। हत्या के मामले में सुशील पर पुलिस ने एक लाख जबकि उनके साथ अजय पर 50 हजार रुपये के इनाम का ऐलान किया गया था। इसके साथ ही पहलवान के खिलाफ गैर जमानती वारंट भी जारी हुआ था। आपको बताते चलें कि पहलवान सुशील कुमार 4 मई के बाद से ही एक पहलवान की कथित हत्या के मामले में फरार चल रहे थे। पहलवान सुशील कुमार पर आरोप है कि सुशील कुमार और कुछ अन्य पहलवानों द्वारा चार मई की रात को दिल्ली के छत्रसाल स्टेडियम कैंपस में हुई मारपीट में जूनियर गोल्ड मेडलिस्ट पहलवान सागर राणा की मौत हो गयी थी।

आपको बता दें कि इससे पहले दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने पहलवान सुशील कुमार को अग्रिम जमानत देने से साफ इनकार कर दिया था। कोर्ट ने कहा था कि कुश्ती खिलाड़ी पहलवान सुशील कुमार मुख्य साजिशकर्ता हैं और उनके खिलाफ लगाए गए आरोप बेहद गंभीर हैं। उनके खिलाफ खिलाफ हत्या, अपहरण और आपराधिक षड्यंत्र का मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पहलवान सुशील कुमार ने 17 मई को दिल्ली की रोहिणी अदालत में अग्रिम जमानत के लिए गुहार लगाई थी, उन्होंने कहा था कि उनके खिलाफ जांच पक्षपातपूर्ण है और वह किसी चोट के लिए जिम्मेदार नहीं हैं। अपनी इस याचिका में पहलवान सुशील कुमार ने जांच में शामिल होने की तथा घटना की ‘‘सच्ची और सही तस्वीर” बताने की इच्छा जताई थी ताकि जांच एजेंसी को नतीजे पर पहुंचने में उनकी मदद मिले।
