पूर्व शहरी स्थानीय निकाय मंत्री कविता जैन ने शनिवार को वार्ड-11 के अंतर्गत ज्ञान नगर में कार्य स्थल पर पहुंची और लोगेंा के साथ उनकी समस्याओं को सुना। ज्ञान नगर में डा. बुधराम वाली गली में पानी निकासी की समस्या के समाधान के लिए सीवरेज लाइन डालने का काम किया जा रहा है। पूर्व मंत्री ने ठेकेदार को इस संदर्भ में निर्देश दिए।

पूर्व मंत्री कविता जैन ने कहा कि यहां रेन वाटर हार्वेस्टिंग सिस्टम स्थापित किया जा रहा है। इससे पानी की निकासी भी होगी और बरसाती पानी का सदुपयोग भी किया जा सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जल संरक्षण समय की जरूरत है। सरकार इसके लिए पुरजोर प्रयास कर रही है। कई प्रकार की योजनाएं लागू की गई हैं। लोगों को जल संरक्षण के लिए प्रोत्साहित और प्रेरित किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि हर व्यक्ति को अपने स्तर पर जल संरक्षण के लिए प्रयास करना चाहिए।
