उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया के प्रोत्साहन के चलते सोनीपत जिला ने सक्षम हरियाणा में दमदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए रैंकिंग में ऊंची छलांग लगाई है। प्रदेशभर में सोनीपत पहले 21वें स्थान पर था और अब 8वें स्थान पर आ गया है। उपायुक्त ने इस सुधार के लिए शिक्षा विभाग को बधाई देते हुए प्रोत्साहित किया कि सोनीपत को टॉप-3 में शामिल होना है। इसके लिए एकजुटता के साथ कठोर परिश्रम करें।

लघु सचिवालय में मंगलवार को सक्षम हरियाणा की समीक्षात्मक बैठक का आयोजन किया गया, जिसकी अध्यक्षता उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश स्तर पर पहले तीन स्थानों में शामिल होने के लिए अभी और मेहनत करने की जरूरत है। इसके लिए बोर्ड कक्षाओं के परिणाम सुधारने पर फोकस करें। इस बार बोर्ड ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन हरियाणा भिवानी ने बोर्ड कक्षाओं के पाठ्यक्रम को घटाकर 70 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। इसमें से 50 प्रतिशत ऑब्जेक्टिव तथा 50 प्रतिशत प्रश्र पत्र सब्जेक्टिव रहेगा। ऐसे में परिणाम सुधारने का बेहतरीन अवसर है, जिसका सीधा असर सक्षम की स्थिति पर भी पड़ेगा।

उन्होंने घर से पढ़ाओ कार्यक्रम, उम्मीद पोर्टल, शिक्षा मित्र ऐप, सक्षम समीक्षा ऐप, अवसर ऐप इत्यादि की विस्तार से समीक्षा करते हुए आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि जिन विद्यालयों का प्रदर्शन कमजोर है उनमें सुधार के लिए विशेष प्रयास किये जायें। साथ ही उन्होंने मेंटरिंग व ट्रेनिंग के लिए भी निर्देश दिए।

जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी जोगेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने बताया कि कलस्टर स्तर पर टीकाकरण अभियान चलाया जाएगा, एक कलस्टर में करीब सात विद्यालय आते हैं और जिला में 75 कलस्टर हैं। जागरूकता सप्ताह को लेकर लड़कियों की कबड्डी व कुश्ती प्रतियोगिताओं के आयोजन के निर्देश दिए। डिप्टी डीईओ नवीन गुलिया, डीईईओ बिजेंद्र सिंह, उर्मिल ग्रेवाल, खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी जितेंद्र छिक्कारा आदि शिक्षा अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
