प्रदेश के शिक्षा, वन एवं पर्यटन मंत्री कंवरपाल गुर्जर, सांसद रमेश कौशिक, विधायक निर्मल चौधरी व विधायक मोहन लाल सहित कई भाजपा पदाधिकारी सतकुंभा धाम पर पहुंचे। धाम पर पहुंचने पर सतकुंभा धाम के पीठाधीश्वर मंहत राजेश स्वरूप महाराज ने पर्यटन मंत्री को ज्ञापन सौंपा। जिला सोनीपत की प्राचीन, ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक एवं सांस्कृतिक धरोहर तीर्थ सतकुंभा धाम, तहसील गन्नौर को भारत सरकार पर्यटन मंत्रालय की स्वदेश दर्शन योजना के अंतर्गत कृष्णा सर्किट में शामिल करने के लिए पत्र सौंपा। महंत ने पर्यटन मंत्री को सौंपे गए पत्र में कहा कि भारत सरकार पर्यटन मंत्रालय द्वारा पर्यटन क्षेत्र को बढ़ावा देने के लिए स्वदेश दर्शन योजना के अंतर्गत कृष्णा सर्किट योजना प्रारम्भ की है।

प्राचीन समय में हमारे ऋषि मुनि जगलों में रहते थे
शिक्षा मंत्री कवरपाल गुज्जर ने कहा कि प्राचीन समय में हमारे ऋषि मुनि जगलों में रहते थे तथा शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए सभी गुरूकूल जगलों में स्थित थे इसका सबसे बड़ा कारण यही था कि जगलों में पेड़-पौधों की अधिकता के कारण वहां शुद्घ आक्सीजन मिलती थी और वहां का वातावरण भी सबसे शांत रहता था। एक उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि जब हम छोटे थे तो रात के समय अगर हम किसी पेड़ की टहनी को तोड़ देते थे तो हमारे पूर्वज हमारे उपर बहुत गुस्सा करते थे क्योंकि उनका मानना था कि रात के समय अगर हम किसी पेड़ को नुकसान पहुंचाते हैं तो वह सबसे बड़ा पाप का कार्य है।
