विश्वकर्मा समाज हरिद्वार के अंदर बना है विश्वकर्मा सेतु। 07 दिसम्बर को मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत ने उद्घाटन किया था। इस कार्य के लिए भगवान विश्वकर्मा के नाम पर गंगा सेतु का नामकरण करने के लिए पुर्व उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री उत्तर प्रदेश श्री राम आसरे विश्वकर्मा जी ने दिनांक 16 अक्टूबर को हरिद्वार में हुए विश्वकर्मा शिल्पकार सम्मेलन में मुख्यमंत्री श्री हरीश रावत से अनुरोध किया था।
