हिंद महासागर में दुश्मन के यु’द्धपो’तों और उनकी गतिविधियों (China’s activities in Indian Ocean) पर अपनी बारीकी से नजर रखने के लिए नेवी (Indian Navy) ने 10 ड्रोन (10 Ship Based Drones) मांग रही है। इसके लिए उसने रक्षा मंत्रालय को एक प्रस्ताव भी भेजा है।
इंडियन नेवी ने रक्षा मंत्रालय को भेजा प्रस्ताव
मीडियारिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, ‘इंडियन नेवी ने रक्षा मंत्रालय (Indian Navy proposal to Defence Ministry for drones) को फास्ट ट्रैक मोड में एक प्रस्ताव भेजा है जिसके अंतर्गत 1,240 करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा की लागत से 10 नवल शिपबोर्न अनमैन्ड एरियल सिस्टम (10 Ship Based Drones) खरीदने की बात कही गई है।’
ओपन विड के माध्यम से करेंगे हासिल
इंडियन नेवी के प्लान के अनुसार इन ड्रोनों (10 Ship Based Drones) को उसके बड़े आकार वाले यु’द्धपोतों पर तैनात। इससे भारतीय जल क्षेत्र के आस-पास चीन समेत दूसरे देशों की गतिविधियों पर भी हम बड़ी बारीकी से नजर रख सकते है। इस प्लान के अनुसार इंडियन नेवी ने इन ड्रोनों को एक ओपन विड के माध्यम से हासिल करना चाहती है। इनसे निगरानी की क्षमता में काफी बढ़ोतरी होगी।
इसके अलावा नेवी अमेरिका से सी गार्जियन ड्रोन्स खरीदने के प्रोजेक्ट पर भी काम जारी है। इससे वह मेडागास्कर से लेकर मलक्का स्ट्रेट और भारतीय हितों व रणनीतिक रूप से अहम बाकी समुद्री हिस्सों पर अपने निगरानी तंत्र का फैलाव कर सकेगी।
