सोनीपत नगर निगम चुनाव: निकाय चुनावों में मतगणना के लिए 200 से अधिक अधिकारी-कर्मचारियों की लगाई ड्यूटी
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी एवं उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि नगर निगम सोनीपत के आम चुनावों के तहत मतों की गिनती के लिए पुख्ता तैयारियां की गई हैं। मतगणना का कार्य सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न करवाने के लिए 200 से अधिक अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों की ड्यूटी लगाई गई है।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी एवं उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि नगर निगम सोनीपत के आम चुनावों के तहत मतों की गिनती के लिए पुख्ता तैयारियां की गई हैं। मतगणना का कार्य सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न करवाने के लिए 200 से अधिक अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों की ड्यूटी लगाई गई है।
उपायुक्त पूनिया ने कहा कि निर्वाचन अधिकारियों के लिए सामान्य ड्यूटी, काउंटिंग एजेंटों/स्टाफ के पहचान पत्र तैयार करने के लिए, कंप्यूटर पर रिजल्ट सीट तैयार करने, मैनुअल रिजल्ट सीट तैयार करने, स्ट्रोंग रूम के लिए, स्ट्रोंग रूम से काउंटिंग टेबल तक ईवीएम मशीन पहुंचाने के लिए, ईवीएम/पैकेटों की सीलिंग के लिए, काउंटिंग स्टाफ की हाजिरी के िलए और ईवीएम को जमा करवाने के लिए अलग-अलग अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों की ड्यूटी लगा दी गई है।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि मतगणना के दौरान शांति तथा कानून एवं व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के लिए पुलिस बल की भी पर्याप्त संख्या में ड्यूटी लगाई गई है। स्वयं पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा भी मतगणना केंद्र में मौजूद रहेंगे। इसके अलावा उन्होंने बताया कि ड्यूटीरत अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों के लिए अलग से पार्किंग की व्यवस्था दी गई है।

उपायुक्त ने बताया कि प्रिंट एवं इलैक्ट्रोनिक मीडिया के पत्रकारों व छायाकार बंधुओं के लिए मतगणना केंद्र में अलग से मीडिया सेंटर स्थापित किया गया है। मीडिया सेंटर में एलईडी की व्यवस्था भी की गई है। साथ ही पत्रकारों की आवश्यकतानुसार अन्य जरूरी प्रबंध भी किये गये हैं। उन्होंने पत्रकारोंं सहित प्रत्याशियों व इलैक्शन एजेंटों से विशेष सहयोग की अपील भी की।

दूसरी ओर निर्वाचन अधिकारियों ने मतगणना केंद्र बिट्स मोहाना का विशेष रूप से निरीक्षण किया। मेयर पद के लिए निर्वाचन अधिकारी के रूप में नगर निगम के आयुक्त जगदीश शर्मा, पार्षद पदों के अंतर्गत वार्ड नंबर-1 से वार्ड नंबर-5 तक के लिए निर्वाचन अधिकारी एसडीएम विजय सिंह, वार्ड-6 से वार्ड-10 तक निर्वाचन अधिकारी नगर निगम के संयुक्त आयुक्त सुभाषचंद्र तथा वार्ड नंबर-11 से वार्ड नंबर-15 तक के लिए निर्वाचन अधिकारी जिला परिषद के सीईओ अमरदीप और वार्ड नंबर-16 से वार्ड नंबर-20 तक के लिए निर्वाचन अधिकारी एसडीएम सुरेंद्रपाल हैं। निर्वाचन अधिकारियों ने मतगणना केंद्र का जायजा लेते हुए संबंधित स्टाफ को जरूरी दिशा-निर्देश भी दिए।
