शहर को जाम मुक्त करवाने के लिए उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने ई-रिक्शाओं के पंजीकरण के निर्देश दिए हैं कि 15 दिनों के अंदर पंजीकरण करवायें नहीं तो उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए है।

शहर को जाम मुक्त करवाने के लिए उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने ई-रिक्शाओं के पंजीकरण के निर्देश दिए हैं कि 15 दिनों के अंदर पंजीकरण करवायें नहीं तो उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए है।
उपायुक्त पूनिया सोमवार को लघु सचिवालय में रोड सेफ्टी की मासिक बैठक को संबोधित कर रहे थे। बैठक के दौरान उन्होंने विशेष रूप से ऑटो तथा ई-रिक्शा के लिए स्टैंड उपलब्ध करवाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि निर्धारित स्थानों पर ही इन वाहनों को खड़ा किया जाए। एसडीएम को निर्देश दिए कि वे प्रमुख चौराहों की रि-डिजायनिंग की जांच करते हुए इस कार्य को संपन्न करवायें। दुकानदारों से अपील की कि वे दोपहिया वाहनों का प्रयोग करें, ताकि बाजारों में आने वाले लोगों को अपने वाहन खड़ा करने के लिए पर्याप्त स्थान मिल सके।
उपायुक्त ने सडक़ मार्गों पर पीली पट्टी लगाने के निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि इसे क्रॉस करके पार्किंग करने वालों के चालान किये जायें। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों पर अवैध कटों को बंद करने के विशेष निर्देश दिए। विभिन्न स्थानों पर नहरी पुलिया के लिए सुरक्षित दिवार बनाने के निर्देश भी दिए।
जिला में ब्लैक स्पॉट की समीक्षा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि इन स्थानों पर सुरक्षा के हर संभव प्रबंध किये जायें। बैठक में पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मुनीश शर्मा, एसडीएम सुरेंद्रपाल, एसडीएम आशीष कुमार, एसडीएम श्वेता सुहाग, नगराधीश उदय सिंह, नगर निगम के संयुक्त आयुक्त सुभाषचंद्र, जीएम रोडवेज राहुल जैन आदि अधिकारीगण मौजूद थे।
