कोरोना वायरस से ग्रसित शहर के एक आढ़ती ने दिल्ली अस्पताल में इलाज के दौरान दम तोड़ दिया। आढ़ती की मौत के बाद गन्नौर व्यापार मंडल व शहर के आढ़तियों व व्यापारियों ने दिवंगत आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की। मृतक प्रमोद जैन पेशे से आढ़ती थे उन्हें कोरोना होने की वजह से दिल्ली के निजी अस्पताल में दाखिल किया गया था, जहां उनकी इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई। उनका अंतिम संस्कार बृहस्पतिवार को दिल्ली में चिकित्सकों की निगरानी में हुआ।
गन्नौर व्यापार मंडल के प्रधान शेखर चंद जैन ने व्यापारियों को कोविड-19 संक्रमण को गंभीरता से लेने की अपील करते हुए वायरस से बचाव के लिए सभी नियमों का पालन करने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि शहर में चार व्यापारियों की कोरोना की वजह से मौत हो चुकी है। इस वायरस को हमें गंभीरता से लेना चाहिए। उन्होंने दुकानदारों से मास्क व सेनीटाईजार का प्रयोग करने व शारीरिक दूरी के नियम का अनुपालना करने की भी अपील की।
