जिलाधीश श्याम लाल पूनिया ने नगर निगम सोनीपत के चुनावों के लिए नोडल अधिकारी के रूप में डीईटीसी डा. सुरेंद्र सिंह को नियुक्त किया है। वीएसटी में ड्यूटी मजिस्ट्रेट के रूप में आईटीआई गोहाना के प्रिंसीपल संजय व डब्ल्यू/एस डिवीजन गोहाना के एसडीओ एएस लाठर को नियुक्त किया गया है।
विडियो व्यूईंग टीम (वीवीटी) में बीपीएसएमवी खानपुर कलां के असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डा. कृष्ण कुमार व डा. सुनील सांगवान तथा क्लर्क रजत और क्लर्क राकेश को शामिल किया गया है। अकाउंटिंग टीम (एटी) में नगर निगम के एओ सुनील दहिया व एसओ अशोक कुमार तथा एसओ पवन कुमार शर्मा सहित क्लर्क अरविंद कुमार व क्लर्क आशा को शामिल किया गया है। असिस्टेंट एक्सपेंडिचर ऑब्जर्वर की जिम्मेदाारी नगर निगम के एसएओ कृष्ण जैन को दी गई है। कंपलेंट मॉनिटरिंग कंट्रोल रूम व कॉल सेंटर के नोडल अधिकारी की जिम्मेदारी जीएम रोडवेज राहुल जैन को सौंपी गई है।
चुनाव में हैल्पलाईन नंबर-1950 पर जानकारी व सूचना देेने के लिए संपर्क किया जा सकेगा। मतदाताओं का कुल आंकड़ा 246871, दिव्यांग मतदाताओं की संख्या 1476 उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि निकाय चुनावों के लिए नगर निगम की ओर से टोल फ्री नंबर- 18001808101 जारी किया गया है, जिस पर चुनाव संबंधी हर प्रकार की जानकारी प्राप्त की जा सकती है। इसके अलावा हैल्पलाईन नंबर-1950 पर भी संपर्क कर आवश्यक जानकारी और सूचनाएं देने का काम किया जा सकता है। सोनीपत नगर निगम में कुल 2 लाख 46 हजार 871 मतदाता हैं। इनमें दिव्यांग मतदाताओं की संख्या 1476 है। उन्होंने बताया कि कुल मतदाताओं में पुरुष मतदाताओं का आंकड़ा 1 लाख 29 हजार 808 तथा महिला मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या 1 लाख 17 हजार 61 है। साथ ही उन्होंने बताया कि नामांकन पत्र दाखिल कराने के लिए 11 से 16 दिसंबर तक निर्धारित स्थानों पर प्रत्याशी अपना नामांकन जमा करवा सकते हैं। इस समयावधि में 13 दिसंबर को नामांकन नहीं लिए जाएंगे।
