किसान आंदोलन : किसानों के धरनास्थल पर जरूरी सुविधाओं की कमी ना रहे: उपायुक्त
उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने निर्देश दिए कि धरनारत किसानों को जरूरी सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता जारी रखी जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि बिजली, पानी, सफाई व्यवस्था तथा दवाई इत्यादि के लिए किसानों को किसी प्रकार की दिक्कत नहीं होनी चाहिए।

उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने निर्देश दिए कि धरनारत किसानों को जरूरी सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता जारी रखी जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि बिजली, पानी, सफाई व्यवस्था तथा दवाई इत्यादि के लिए किसानों को किसी प्रकार की दिक्कत नहीं होनी चाहिए। इसके लिए संबंधित अधिकारीगण नियमित रूप से धरनास्थल का दौरा करते हुए सुविधाओं को लेकर समीक्षा करते रहें।
राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या-44 पर किसानों के धरने को लेकर उपायुक्त पूनिया ने बुधवार को अपने कार्यालय में अधिकारियों की समीक्षात्मक बैठक ली। बैठक में उन्होंने हर प्रकार की स्थिति व प्रबंधों को लेकर विस्तार से समीक्षा की। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से कानून एवं व्यवस्था की स्थिति को लेकर चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि शांति और कानून एवं व्यवस्था को भंग नहीं होने दिया जाएगा। इसके लिए धरनारत किसानों से भी उन्होंने अपील की।
उपायुक्त पूनिया ने स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे लगातार किसानों के स्वास्थ्य की जांच का कार्य जारी रखें। जिन किसानों को दवाई की जरूरत है उन्हें दवाई दी जाए। साथ ही किसानों को मास्क वितरण का कार्य भी नियमित रूप से जारी रखा जाए। उन्होंने किसानों से अपील की कि वे मास्क का प्रयोग करें। उन्होंने कहा कि धरनास्थल पर कोविड काउंटर स्थापित किये गये हैं। किसानों को अपनी कोविड-19 की जांच अवश्य करवानी चाहिए। पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा, नगर निगम के आयुक्त जगदीश शर्मा, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मुनीश शर्मा, एसडीएम विजय सिंह, नगराधीश उदय सिंह, सीएमओ डा. जेएस पूनिया, डा. दिनेश छिल्लर तथा इलैक्शन तहसीलदार सरला कौशिक मौजूद थे।
