फिल्मी दुनिया की बेहतरीन अदाकारा जिसने एक से एक शानदार फिल्मों में अपने अभिनय की क्षमता से दर्शकों का दिल जीत लिया। वो नाम है पद्मश्री अवार्ड से सम्मानित आशा पारेख। यह दिन 2 अक्टूबर का आते ही उनकी याद आती है। वर्ष 1942 को 2 अक्टूबर के दिन गुजरात के महुआ में आशा का जन्म होता है। इसके बाद भारत के सिनेमा में अपनी अदाकारी से अपने चाहने वालों के दिलों पर राज करती हैं। वहीं इनकी इंसानियत और समाज सेवा को सुन्दर स्वरुप देखने को मिलता है जो आशा पारेख को बेहतरीन अदाकारा के साथ-साथ समाज सेविका के रुप में स्थापित करता है।
आशा पारेख को फिल्मी दुनिया में ऊंचा मुकाम
आशा पारेख ने जिन फिल्मों में खास भूमिकायें निभााई उनमें से तुलसी तेरे आंगन की, फिर वही दिल लाया हूं, कटी पतंग, मौसम, कन्यादान, आन मिलो सजना, तीसरी मंजिल, लव इन टोक्यो, मेरा गांव मेरा देश, आया सावन झूम के, बिन फेरे हम तेरे, उपकार आदि। यह वो फिल्में जिन्होंने आशा पारेख को फिल्मी दुनिया में ऊंचा मुकाम दिलवाया।
आशा पारेख की कला को मिला सम्मान
आशा को 1970 में फ़िल्म फेयर अवार्ड, 1992 में पद्मश्री अवार्ड, 2002 में लाइफ़ टाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड, 2006 में अंतरराष्ट्रीय भारतीय फ़िल्म अकादमी सम्मान से अलंकृत किया गया। आशा पारेख ने वर्ष 1952 फ़िल्म आसमान से एक बाल कलाकार के रुप में अपने फ़िल्मी सफर का आगाज किया।
बेहतरीन अभिनेत्री के साथ-साथ आशा पारेख को शास्त्रीय नृत्य में दक्ष
आशा पारेख को भारतीय हिन्दी फ़िल्मों की प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री, निर्देशक और निर्माता के रुप पहचान मिली है। वह 1959 से 1973 तक हिन्दी फ़िल्मों की शीर्ष अभिनेत्रियों में शुमार रही। 60 का दशक उनका का दशक माना जाता है। अभिनेत्री आशा पारेख ने शम्मी कपूर, शशि कपूर, धर्मेन्द्र, देवानंद, मनोज कुमार, जॉय मुखर्जी, अशोक कुमार, सुनील दत्त और राजेश खन्ना जैसे स्टार, सुपर स्टार के साथ बतौर नायिका फिल्मों काम किया। आशा पारेख ने विभिन्न भूमिकाओं को जीवंत किया। बेहतरीन अभिनेत्री के रुप में एक अलग पहचान बनाने वाली आशा पारेख को शास्त्रीय नृत्य में दक्षता प्राप्त हैं।
फिल्म के आसमान पर छा जाना एक सुखद अहसास
एक मध्यम वर्गीय गुजराती परिवार में पैदा होकर फिल्म के आसमान पर छा जाना एक सुखद अहसास है। आशा के पिता हिन्दू लेकिन माता मुस्लिम थीं। इनकी माता एक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता और आज़ादी के आन्दोलन में सक्रिय थीं। आशा पारेख का पारिवारिक माहौल धार्मिक वृति का था। विभिन्न धर्मों से संबंध होने के बावजूद उनके माता-पिता साईं बाबा के भक्त थे। छोटी-सी आयु में ही उनकी मां ने कथक नर्तक मोहनलाल पांडे से उन्हें प्रशिक्षण दिलवाया। बड़ी होने पर पंडित गोपीकृष्ण तथा पंडित बिरजू महाराज से भरतनाट्यम में उन्होंने कुशलता प्राप्त की।
नृत्य से प्रभावित हुए निर्देशक विमल रॉय
आसमान फिल्म में काम करने के बाद इनको बेबी आशा पारेख कहा जाने लगा। एक स्टेज प्रोग्राम में आशा पारेख के नृत्य से प्रभावित होकर निर्देशक विमल रॉय ने बारह वर्ष की आयु में आशा पारेख को अपनी फ़िल्म बाप-बेटी में लिया।
जब उन्हें फ़िल्म में लेने से इनकार कर दिया
सोलह वर्ष की आयु में आशा पारेख को फ़िल्म गूंज उठी शहनाई के निर्देशक विजय भट्ट ने आशा की अभिनय प्रतिभा को नजरअंदाज करते हुए उन्हें फ़िल्म में लेने से इनकार कर दिया। लेकिन अगले ही दिन फ़िल्म निर्माता सुबोध मुखर्जी और लेखक-निर्देशक नासिर हुसैन ने अपनी आगामी फ़िल्म दिल देके देखो में आशा पारेख को शम्मी कपूर की नायिका की भूमिका में चुन लिया। यह फ़िल्म आशा पारेख और नासिर हुसैन को एक दूसरे के काफ़ी नजदीक ले आई थी। नासिर हुसैन ने उन्हें अपनी अगली छ: फ़िल्मों, जब प्यार किसी से होता है, फिर वही दिल लाया हूं, तीसरी मंजिल, बहारों के सपने, प्यार का मौसम और कारवां में बतौर नायिका की भूमिका में रखा।
आशा पारेख की पहचान रोमांस और खुबसूरती का संगम
इनकी पहचान रोमांस और खुबसूरती का संगम बन गई। इनकी अदाओं ने दर्शकों का दिल जीत लिया। आशा पारेख को निर्देशक राज खोसला ने दो बदन, चिराग, मैं तुलसी तेरे आंगन की फ़िल्मों में एक संजीदा अभिनेत्री के रूप में पेश किया। निर्देशक शक्ति सामंत ने कटी पतंग, पगला कहीं का के इनकी अदाकारी को तराशा और ऊंचा मुकाम दिया। आशा पारेख ने हिन्दी, गुजराती और पंजाबी फ़िल्मों में भी अभिनय किया।
शोहरत के आसामान पर चमकता हुआ नाम आशा पारेख
उन्होंने गंभीर भूमिकाओं को बहुत ही बेहतरीन तरीके से निभाया उनकी अभिनय प्रतिभा उनका कला कौशल उनको खास पहचान दिलाने लगा। शोहरत के आसामान पर चमकता हुआ नाम आशा पारेख के रुप में स्थापित होने लगा। शम्मी कपूर के साथ उनकी कैमिस्ट्री खूब जमी और फ़िल्म तीसरी मंजिल ने तो कई रिकॉर्ड बनाए। उनकी समकालीन अभिनेत्री नंदा, माला सिन्हा, सायरा बानो, साधना आदि भले बाद में पर्दे से गायब हो गई, लेकिन आशा पारेख समाज सेवा करते हुए लगातार अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराती रही।
एक अस्पताल का वार्ड उन्होंने गोद ले लिया
ओरों के लिए जीवन जीने वाली आशा की मां की मौत के बाद खुद को कमजोर महसुस करने लगी। खुद को संभाला और वर्ष 1995 में अभिनय से निर्देशन के क्षेत्र में तो आई पर किसी फ़िल्म में अभिनय नहीं किया। समाज सेवा करते हुए मुंबई के एक अस्पताल का वार्ड उन्होंने गोद ले लिया। उसमें भर्ती तमाम मरीजों की सेवा का उन्होंने काम किया और ज़रूरतमंदों की मदद की। फ़िल्मी दुनिया के कामगारों के कल्याण के लिए लंबी लड़ाई लड़ी हैं। सिने आर्टिस्ट एसोसिएशन की छः साल तक वे अध्यक्ष रहीं। केन्द्रीय फ़िल्म प्रमाणन मंडल की वह पहली महिला चेयर परसन बनी मुंबई की।
