नई दिल्ली: मुंबई एनसीबी (नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो) ने कॉमेडियन भारती सिंह और उनके पति हर्ष लिंबाचिया के खिलाफ 200 पन्नों की चार्जशीट कोर्ट में पेश की है। ड्रग से संबंधित गिरफ्तारी 2020 में हुई थी, और वे अब जमानत पर मुक्त हैं।
एनसीबी ने 21 नवंबर, 2020 को भारती सिंह और उनके पति के घर की तलाशी के दौरान 86.5 ग्राम मारिजुआना जब्त किया। मनोरंजन उद्योग के भीतर नशीली दवाओं के उपयोग की एनसीबी की जांच के तहत यह खोज की गई।
जोड़े को हिरासत में लिया गया और अदालत ले जाया गया, जहां उन्हें 4 दिसंबर तक न्यायिक हिरासत में रहने का आदेश दिया गया। हालांकि, प्रत्येक को 15,000 रुपये की राशि में जेल से छूटने के बाद, दंपति को हिरासत से रिहा कर दिया गया।
जून 2020 में अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की आत्महत्या के बाद, एनसीबी ने नशीली दवाओं से संबंधित व्हाट्सएप संदेशों के आधार पर बॉलीवुड में व्यापक रूप से नशीली दवाओं के उपयोग की जांच शुरू की। इससे पहले एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत केंद्रीय एजेंसी ने राजपूत की प्रेमिका, अभिनेत्री रिया चक्रवर्ती के साथ-साथ उनके भाई शोइक को भी हिरासत में लिया था।
