खरखौदा/सोनीपत: भारतीय पर्यावरण मित्र मंडली ने रविवार को ओमैक्स सिटी, सोनीपत में पौधा रोपण किया। प्रोफेसर डा. रवि दहिया की अगुवाई में किए गए इस पौधा रोपण में बड़, नीम, पिपल, जामुन, अमलतास, गुलमोहर, अर्जुन, पिलखन पुत्रजीवक व कदंब आदि के पौधे रोपे गए। जिसमें उनके सहयोगी

इस अवसर पर डा. रवि दहिया ने कहा कि धरती का तापमान लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है, जिसका कारण लगातार कम होती पेड़ों की संख्या है। आज लोग अपनी जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए अंधाधुंध पेड़ों की कटाई तो कर रहे हैं लेकिन उसकी तुलना में पौधा रोपण में नहीं किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी भारतीय पर्यावरण मित्र मंडली की ओर से बीते एक दशक से पौधा रोपण किया जा रहा है और करवाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पौधा रोपण हमें आज आक्सीजन देगा और हमारी भावी पीढ़ियों को सुरक्षित करने का काम करेगा लेकिन अगर इसे और गति नहीं दी गई तो हमारा जीवन भी खतरे में पड़ सकता है। इस लिए जरूरी है कि लोग अपनी सांसों को जारी रखने के लिए पौधा रोपण करने के लिए कदम आगे बढ़ाएं, क्योंकि धरती पर जीवन बचाए रखने के लिए पौधा रोपण जरूरी है।
