बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस मामले में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता लालकृष्ण आडवाणी, मुरली मनोहर जोशी, कल्याण सिंह ,उमा भारती सहित कुल 49 लोगों को आरोपी बनाया गया था, जिनमें 17 की मौत हो चुकी है।

बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस केस में लखनऊ में सीबीआई की स्पेशल कोर्ट को 30 सितंबर तक का समय दिया है। कोर्ट ने इस मामले में सभी 32 मुख्य आरोपियों को सुनवाई में शामिल होने को कहा है। बाबरी विध्वंस केस की सुनवाई कर रहे विशेष जज एसके यादव की रिपोर्ट देखने के बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मामले की सुनवाई पूरी करने की समय सीमा एक महीना और बढ़ाकर 30 सितंबर कर दिया है।
