नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: भारत ने रविवार को 104 दिनों के बाद 8,582 ताजा कोविड -19 मामले दर्ज किए, जिससे देश के संक्रमण की संख्या 4,32,22,017 हो गई, जबकि सक्रिय मामलों की संख्या 40,370 से बढ़कर 44,513 हो गई, समाचार एजेंसी पीटीआई ने बताया। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा रविवार को जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, देश में पिछले 24 घंटों में 4,435 लोगों को डिस्चार्ज किया गया, जिससे कुल ठीक होने की दर लगभग 98.68 प्रतिशत और कुल ठीक होने की दर 4,26,52,743 हो गई।

एक दिन पहले लगभग 2,000 नए मामले दर्ज करने के बाद शनिवार को मुंबई में दैनिक केसलोएड कुछ गिर गया। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, यह शुक्रवार को परीक्षण में 15,346 से घटकर शनिवार को 14,227 होने के कारण है। पिछले 24 घंटों के भीतर, परीक्षण पॉजिटिव दर (टीपीआर) – किए गए सभी परीक्षणों में से पॉजिटिव मामलों की संख्या – 12.26% तक पहुंच गई।
इस बीच, महाराष्ट्र ने शनिवार को 2,922 नए कोविड मामले दर्ज किए, जिनमें एक की मौत हो गई। राज्य के एक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी के अनुसार, राज्य में पिछले दिन की तुलना में 159 कम मामले दर्ज करने के बाद मामलों में कमी देखी गई।
BA.5 सब-वेरिएंट पुणे के एक 37 वर्षीय व्यक्ति में खोजा गया था। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, उनके नमूने को पुणे में भारतीय विज्ञान, शिक्षा और अनुसंधान संस्थान में संसाधित किया गया और घर से अलग कर दिया गया। वह व्यक्ति 12 मई को इंग्लैंड से लौटा था। राज्य में फिलहाल 14,858 एक्टिव केस हैं। 1,47,868 कोविड की मौत के साथ, महाराष्ट्र का कुल केसलोएड बढ़कर 79,07,631 हो गया।
