IAPM की 15वीं वार्षिक आम बैठक: वरिष्ठ पत्रकार पवन सहयोगी बने ‘IAPM’ के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष
नवनियुक्त राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष पवन सहयोगी ने कहा कि प्रेस की स्वतंत्रता पर सरकारों द्वारा उत्पन्न किये जा रहे अवरोध चिन्ता का विषय हैं जिसे किसी भी कीमत पर स्वीकार नहीं किया जायेगा। पत्रकारों के हितों के लिए एसोसियशन निरंतर कार्य करती रहेगी। उन्होने शीघ्र पत्रकार सुरक्षा कानून बनाये जाने पर जोर दिया।

नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: पत्रकारों की अग्रणी संस्था इंडियन एसोसियशन ऑफ प्रेस-एन-मीडियामैन की आज 15वीं वार्षिक आम सभा व राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी के चुनाव सम्पन्न हुए जिसमें वरिष्ठ पत्रकार पवन सहयोगी को एसोसियशन का राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष चुना गया। कोविड गाइडलाइंस के दृष्टिगत एसोसियशन के अधिकांश सदस्यों ने वर्चुअल प्रतिभाग किया और चुनाव प्रक्रिया में हिस्सा लिया।
एसोसियशन की आम सभा में सरकार द्वारा पत्रकारों के कार्यों में परोक्ष-अपरोक्ष रूप से अवरोध उत्पन्न करने का मुद्दा प्रमुखता से उठाया वहीं शीघ्र पत्रकार सुरक्षा कानून बनाने की पुरजोर मांग की। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि पत्रकारों के प्रति सरकारों की उदासीनता निंदनीय है।
नवनियुक्त राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष पवन सहयोगी ने कहा कि प्रेस की स्वतंत्रता पर सरकारों द्वारा उत्पन्न किये जा रहे अवरोध चिन्ता का विषय हैं जिसे किसी भी कीमत पर स्वीकार नहीं किया जायेगा। पत्रकारों के हितों के लिए एसोसियशन निरंतर कार्य करती रहेगी। उन्होने शीघ्र पत्रकार सुरक्षा कानून बनाये जाने पर जोर दिया।

नवगठित राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी में श्री अर्जुन जैन व श्री पवन नवरत्न को उपाध्यक्ष बनाया गया वहीं वरिष्ठ पत्रकार नरेन्द्र शर्मा परवाना को एसोसियशन का महासचिव नियुक्त किया गया। सर्व श्री सी. पी. सिंह, महेश कुमार शर्मा, जे. के. मिश्रा को राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी में सचिव नियुक्त किया गया।
