चौधरी जय लाल का सामाजिक योगदान अविस्मरणीय: राठी

दीवाना स्थित राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय में जिला सोनीपत के गांव रोहट के पूर्व सरपंच आर्य समाज जय लाल दहिया के 29 वीं पुण्यतिथि पर वैदिक रीति से यज्ञ किया गया यह के आयोजन में जय लाल के पुत्र कपिल देव ने व्यवस्था को संभाला। इसमें प्राचार्य देवेंद्र सिंह राठी यजमान बने विद्यालय स्टॉप एवं ग्रामीण सभी ने मिलकर आहुति दी।

इस मौके पर प्राचार्य देवेंद्र ने कहा कि जय लाल दहिया सन 1957 के हिंदी रक्षा आंदोलन में एक महानायक की भूमिका में रहे । आर्य समाज के आह्वान पर भी जत्थे सहित हिसार जेल में बंद रहे, खाप पंचायतों का उस वक्त बहुत महत्व था इसलिए जय लाल ने पंच शब्द के अर्थ को समझते हुए सामाजिक ताने-बाने को एकता के सूत्र में पिरोने के लिए सारा जीवन लगाया।
