ब्रह्मोस एयरोस्पेस भारत और रूस के बीच एक संयुक्त उद्यम है जो सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल का उत्पादन करता है जिसे पनडुब्बियों, जहाजों, विमानों या भूमि प्लेटफार्मों से लॉन्च किया जा सकता है।
नई दिल्ली: भारतीय ने मंगलवार को विशाखापत्तनम में भारतीय नौसेना के एक स्टील्थ गाइडेड-मिसाइल विध्वंसक से ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल का सफल परीक्षण किया। रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) के अनुसार, मिसाइल ने ‘ठीक’ निर्धारित लक्ष्य पर निशाना साधा।
डीआरडीओ ने एक ट्वीट में कहा, “ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल के उन्नत समुद्र से समुद्री संस्करण का आज आईएनएस विशाखापत्तनम से परीक्षण किया गया। मिसाइल ने निर्धारित लक्ष्य जहाज पर सटीक निशाना लगाया। मिसाइल के समुद्र से समुद्र के संस्करण का अधिकतम सीमा पर परीक्षण किया गया और लक्ष्य जहाज को सटीक सटीकता के साथ मारा गया।

परीक्षण-अग्नि के तुरंत बाद, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि मिसाइल के सफल प्रक्षेपण ने भारतीय नौसेना की “मिशन तत्परता” की मजबूती की पुष्टि की।
सिंह ने ट्वीट किया, “आईएनएस विशाखापत्तनम से आज ब्रह्मोस मिसाइल के उन्नत संस्करण के सफल प्रक्षेपण के बाद आज भारतीय नौसेना मिशन की तैयारी की मजबूती की पुष्टि हुई है। मैं भारतीय नौसेना @DRDO_India और @BrahMosMissile के अद्भुत टीम वर्क को बधाई देता हूं।”
