उत्तर प्रदेश के अपने तीन दिवसीय दौरे का समापन करते हुए मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त सुशील चंद्रा ने लखनऊ में मीडियाकर्मियों से कहा कि समय पर चुनाव कराने के लिए सभी राजनीतिक दल एकजुट हैं, लेकिन राजनीतिक रैलियों को रोकने के संबंध में कुछ सुझाव हैं।
नई दिल्ली: भारत के चुनाव आयोग (ईसीआई) ने गुरुवार को जानकारी दी कि यूपी में सभी राजनीतिक दलों की एक ही राय है कि सभी कोविड -19 प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करने के लिए निर्धारित समय पर चुनाव होंगे।
उत्तर प्रदेश के अपने तीन दिवसीय दौरे का समापन करते हुए मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त सुशील चंद्रा ने लखनऊ में मीडियाकर्मियों से कहा कि समय पर चुनाव कराने के लिए सभी राजनीतिक दल एकजुट हैं, लेकिन राजनीतिक रैलियों को रोकने के संबंध में कुछ सुझाव हैं।
भारत निर्वाचन आयोग की प्रेस कांफ्रेंस की मुख्य बातें
- कोविड की स्थिति को ध्यान में रखते हुए अगले साल मतदान होने वाले सभी राज्यों के लिए मतदान का समय एक घंटे बढ़ा दिया जाएगा।
- चुनाव आयोग ने स्वास्थ्य सचिव से यह सुनिश्चित करने का अनुरोध किया है कि चुनाव शुरू होने से पहले 100 प्रतिशत पात्र आबादी को टीकाकरण की पहली खुराक मिले जबकि 50 प्रतिशत को दूसरी खुराक मिले। सभी पांच चुनावी राज्यों में टीकाकरण का दायरा बढ़ाना होगा।
- विकलांग, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों और कोविड संक्रमित लोगों के लिए पोस्टल बैलेट।
- यूपी में पोलिंग बूथ 11 हजार बढ़ाए जाने हैं।
- अंतिम मतदाता सूची 5 जनवरी को जारी की जानी है।
- 800 सभी महिलाओं ने मतदान केंद्र बनाए।
- पहचान के उद्देश्य से पैन कार्ड, मनरेगा कार्ड, डाकघर द्वारा जारी पासबुक, आधार कार्ड सहित 7 अन्य दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत किए जा सकते हैं।
- पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए लगभग 1 लाख मतदान केंद्रों पर वेबकास्टिंग।
- 2017 के यूपी विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान मतदान 61% था जबकि 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान 69% था।
- मतदान अधिकारियों को पूरी तरह से टीका लगाया जाए और फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर के रूप में नामित किया जाए। उन्हें बूस्टर डोज भी देनी है।
