कोविड-19 के मद्देनज़र फेसबुक से हानिकारिक एवं निषिद्ध सामग्री हटाने में आई समस्या: कम्पनी

फेसबुक ने कोविड-19 के कारण सोशल मीडिया मंच से हानिकारक और निषिद्ध सामग्री हटाने में बाधा उत्पन्न होने की बात स्वीकार की है। महामारी के मद्देनजर घर से काम करने की वजह से कर्मचारियों का सामग्री भेजने में आई परेशानियों के कारण कम्पनी आत्महत्या, खुद को नुकसान पहुंचाने, बच्चों से जुड़ी अश्लील सामग्री, यौन उत्पीड़न आदि से जुड़ी कम ही सामग्री फेसबुक और इंस्टाग्राम से हटा पाई।
कोविड-19 के पड़े असर का पता चला
अपने समीक्षकों को सामग्री घर भेजने का मतलब यह था कि फेसबुक अपने नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाली लोगों की पोस्ट, तस्वीरें और अन्य सामग्री खोजने के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी पर अधिक निर्भर हो रही है। प्रमाणिकता के मामलों पर फेसबुक के उपाध्यक्ष गॉय रोजेन ने अपने ब्लॉग में लिखा आज की रिपोर्ट में हमारी सामग्री पर कोविड-19 के पड़े असर का पता चला, जबकि उल्लंघन करने वाली सामग्री को पहचानने और हटाने की हमारी तकनीक में सुधार हो रहा है लेकिन साथ ही कुछ क्षेत्रों में हम अब भी लोगों की समीक्षा की गई सामग्री पर भरोसा करते हैं और साथ ही अपनी तकनीक को भी बेहतर कर रहे हैं।’’कम्पनी ने मंगलवार को कहा कि अधिकतर समीक्षक घर से काम कर रहे हैं क्योंकि ‘‘यह सुरक्षित है’’ और केवल थोड़े लोग ही कार्यालय से काम कर रहे हैं।
