मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार एवं घुमन्तु, अर्ध घुमन्तु, विमुक्त जाति उत्थान मामलों की सलाहकार समिति के पूर्व चेयरमैन राजीव जैन ने कहा कि विमुक्त, घुमंतु, अर्ध घुमंतु और टपरीवास समुदाय को मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के नेतृत्व में सरकार द्वारा उत्थान का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया गया है। सामाजिक, आर्थिक, शैक्षणिक, राजनीतिक उत्थान की दिशा में उठाए गए कदमों से इस समाज की विकास यात्रा ने तेजी पकडी है।

वे गन्नौर में घुमन्तु, अर्ध घुमन्तु, विमुक्त समुदाय की 69 वीं विमुक्ति दिवस अवसर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में मुख्य वक्ता के तौर पर सम्बोधित कर रहे थे। समुदाय के प्रबुद्धजनों को संबोधित करते हुए जैन ने कहा कि देश में 15 करोड़ और प्रदेश में 18 से 20 लाख की आबादी वाले विमुक्त, घुमंतु, अर्ध घुमंतु और टपरीवास समुदाय को समाज की मुख्यधारा में लाने का जो सपना मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने वर्ष 2015 में देखा था, वह अब जमीन पर उतरने लगा है। पहले पानीपत और इसके बाद फतेहाबाद में विमुक्ति दिवस सम्मेलन के माध्यम से समुदाय को एक मंच पर लाकर उनको पहचान देने की कवायद तेज कर क्रांतिकारी बदलाव लाने का काम किया है। उनके राशन कार्ड बनवाने, जिला स्तर पर हॉस्टल स्थापित करने और रोजगार में भी बेहतर अवसर प्रदान किए गए हैं। विमुक्त घुमंतु कल्याण संघ व विमुक्त घुमंतू प्रकोष्ठ के जिला प्रमुख व जिला संयोजक अजय राठौड़, जिला अध्यक्ष बंजारा समाज संजय, जोगी समाज प्रधान प्रेमानंद, ओमप्रकाश, एससी मोर्चा की जिला उपाध्यक्ष एडवोकेट मंजू बाला मौजूद रहे।
