पुलिस पवन कुमार से वारदात में प्रयुक्त पिस्तौल के बारे में पता लगा रही है। इस संबंध में भी पुलिस ने घायल कृष्ण की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने पवन के खिलाफ हत्या प्रयास का मामला दर्ज कर लिया था।

मृतक रोहताश के पिता पिपली खेड़ा निवासी अरूण की शिकायत पर आरोपित पवन के खिलाफ हत्या का मामला दर्ज किया गया था। आरोपी पवन फरार चल रहा था। पुलिस द्वारा आरोपी पवन पर पांच हजार रुपये का इनाम रखा। इसके बाद पवन ने पांच नवंबर को बेगा रोड पर अपने चाचा कृष्ण नंबरदार पर भी गोली चला कर जानलेवा हमला किया था। गिरफ्तार आरोपित पिपली खेड़ा निवासी पवन उर्फ सोनू को पुलिस को पवन ने बताया कि वारदातों को अंजाम देने के बाद अपनी पहचान छिपा कर किसान अंदोलन में आता जाता रहा। इसके अलावा वह कई बार हरिद्वार भी जाकर छिपा।
