अमिताभ बच्चन की 'बागबान' की पटकथा लिखने के लिए जाने जाने वाले वयोवृद्ध पटकथा लेखक शफीक अंसारी का बुधवार सुबह मुंबई के कोकिलाबेन धीरूभाई अंबानी अस्पताल में निधन हो गया।
मुंबई: अमिताभ बच्चन की ‘बागबान’ की पटकथा लिखने के लिए जाने जाने वाले वयोवृद्ध पटकथा लेखक शफीक अंसारी का बुधवार सुबह मुंबई के कोकिलाबेन धीरूभाई अंबानी अस्पताल में निधन हो गया। जब उन्होंने अंतिम सांस ली तब वे 84 वर्ष के थे। उनके बेटे मोहसिन अंसारी ने लेखक के निधन की खबर की पुष्टि की, जो एक लंबी बीमारी से पीड़ित थे।

इसके अलावा, उन्होंने धर्मेंद्र और हेमा मालिनी-स्टारर ‘दिल का हीरा’ (1979), दिवंगत अभिनेता दिलीप कुमार, गोविंदा और माधुरी दीक्षित-स्टारर ‘इज़्ज़तदार’ (1990) और ‘प्यार हुआ चोरी चोरी’ को लिखा, जिसमें मिथुन और दक्षिणी अभिनेता ने अभिनय किया। गोथामी। अंसारी ने बाद में अनुभवी फिल्म निर्माता बी आर चोपड़ा के साथ हाथ मिलाया और 2003 में अमिताभ बच्चन, हेमा मालिनी और सलमान खान अभिनीत ‘बागबान’ के संवाद और पटकथा लिखी। दिवंगत पटकथा लेखक के परिवार में उनके बेटे और बेटी हैं।
