सांसद दीपेंद्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि दीपावली अधर्म पर धर्म, झूठ पर सत्य, अंधकार पर प्रकाश अभिमान पर स्वाभिमान की जीत का त्यौहार है। कोई कितना भी बड़ा क्यों न हो, यदि आपके अंदर अभिमान आ गया तो वो आपको बर्बाद कर देगा। वे शनिवार को कृष्णा चौरिटेबल सोसाइटी द्वारा आयोजित दीपावली मिलन समारोह में बोल रहे थे।

उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार ने हर वर्ग को चोट मारी है खेती बर्बाद कर दी, व्यापार, उद्योग चौपट कर दिये, टैक्स पर टैक्स थोपकर अपनी तिजोरी भर रही है और आम जनता का दिवाला निकालकर सरकार दिवाली मना रही है। महंगाई ने आम आदमी की कमर तोड़ दी है। पेट्रोल-डीजल उसकी पहुंच से बाहर हो गये हैं। डीजल-पेट्रोल, रसोई गैस, खाद्य तेल समेत रोजमर्रा की जरुरत के सामान इस कदर महंगे हो गये हैं कि आम आदमी का घर चलाना दूभर हो गया है। ऐसे में दीपावली का त्यौहार भी फीका पड़ गया है। गरीब की थाली में दाल-सब्जी तो दूर हुई, प्याज गायब हो गया है। तीन नये कृषि कानूनों की आड़ में सरकार आम आदमी की रोटी को भी चंद सरमायेदारों की मुठ्ठी में देना चाहती है। खाद्य पदार्थों और रोजमर्रा की चीजों के आसमान छूते दाम तीन कृषि कानूनों का ट्रेलर है, पूरी फिल्म तो कहीं ज्यादा डरावनी होगी।
