पुलिस कमिश्नर ओ पी सिंह ने आज अपने ऑफिस सेक्टर 21ए के सभागार में फरीदाबाद शहर के अच्छे और प्रभावशाली व्यक्तित्व वाले लोगों के साथ बैठक की है। पुलिस कमिश्नर ने बैठक की शुरुआत बहुत ही उत्साहित करने वाले सन्देश माना की अँधेरा घना है लेकिन दिया जलाना कहाँ मना है से की। उन्होंने कहा कि मुझे क्या लेना देना की यह सोच बदलनी होगी अपना व्यवहार बदलना होगा तब हम एक अच्छे समाज का निर्माण कर सकते हैं पुलिस कमिश्नर ने कहा कि समाज के अच्छे लोगों को समस्या की बजाय समाधान का हिस्सा बनना चाहिए, समाज में अच्छा प्रभाव रखने वाले लोगों से बैठक करने का मकसद है कि पुलिस और जनता एक दुसरे का परस्पर सहयोग कर एक अच्छे समाज का निर्माण किया जा सके। आम जनता और पुलिस के बीच जितना तालमेल बढेगा उतनी ही आपराधिक गतिविधियां कम होगी और उसका फायदा पूरे समाज को मिलेगा। प्रभावशाली लोग अपने एरिया के अंदर नोजवान बच्चों पर विशेष ध्यान रखें क्योंकि यही वह उम्र होती है जब बच्चा अपनी राह से आसानी से भटक सकता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि शहर में कानून व्यवस्था बनाये रखने के लिए जनता पुलिस प्रशाशन का सहयोग करें। आपके एरिया में यदि कोई आपराधिक किस्म का व्यक्ति है तो पुलिस को बताएं, उससे पुलिस निपटेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस और पब्लिक के बीच बैठक होती रहनी चाहिए ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए की घटना के समय ही पुलिस और पब्लिक की मुलाकात हो। अच्छे लोगों का नजरिया पुलिस के प्रति अच्छा ही रहता है और बुरे लोग पुलिस को बुरी नजर से देखते हैं। पुलिस कमिश्नर नें कहा कि अपने बच्चों का ध्यान रखें, हमें उस नब्ज को पकडऩा है जब बच्चा छोटी उम्र में ही छोटे छोटे अपराध कर अपराध की दुनिया में कदम रखता है और फिर एक बड़ा अपराधी बन जाता है। हमें बच्चों को अपराध करने से शुरू में ही रोकना है ताकि अपराधी नाम की चीज हमारे समाज में ना रहे।
बैठक में मौजूद राम जुनेजा व्यापार मंडल के अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि मार्केट में रोड पर दुकानों से 3 फुट दूरी तक पीली पट्टी लगाई जाए ताकि उस पट्टी से आगे कोई भी दुकानदार सामान ना रखें इससे ट्रैफिक जाम नहीं हो पाएगा। जिस पर पुलिस कमिश्नर ने कहा कि व्यापार मंडल के लोगों के साथ विचार विमर्श कर इस पर कार्य किया जाएगा। बैठक में मौजूद सभी लोगों ने पुलिस कमिश्नर ओपी सिंह के द्वारा लागू किया गया बीट सिस्टम के बारे में सराहना की है। उन्होंने कहा कि बीट सिस्टम से वह अपनी बात आसानी से अपने बीट इंचार्ज के पास रख सकते हैं और उसका समाधान वहीं पर कर सकते हैं।
