देश में पिछले 2 दिनों से 30,000 से भी कम मामले सामने आ रहे हैं। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार, पिछले 24 घंटों में भारत में 27,254 नए कोविड मामले, 37,687 ठीक होने और 219 मौतें हुई हैं।

राज्य सरकार ने पीटीआई के हवाले से कहा कि केरल में रविवार को 20,240 ताजा कोरोनावायरस के मामले और 67 मौतें दर्ज की गईं, जिससे राज्य में संक्रमण की कुल संख्या 43,75,431 हो गई और 22,551 लोगों की मौत हो गई। राज्य सरकार की एक विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है कि पिछले 24 घंटों में 1,15,575 नमूनों का परीक्षण करने के बाद परीक्षण सकारात्मकता दर (टीपीआर) 17.51 प्रतिशत दर्ज की गई।
बुलेटिन में यह भी कहा गया है कि शनिवार से अब तक 29,710 लोग संक्रमण से उबर चुके हैं, जिससे कुल संख्या 41,30,065 और सक्रिय मामलों की संख्या 2,22,255 हो गई है। विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है कि 14 जिलों में, एर्नाकुलम में 2,572 के साथ सबसे अधिक मामले दर्ज किए गए, इसके बाद त्रिशूर 2,451, तिरुवनंतपुरम 1,884, कोझीकोड 1,805, कोट्टायम 1,780, कोल्लम 1,687, पलक्कड़ 1,644, मलप्पुरम 1,546, कन्नूर 1,217 और अलाप्पुझा 1,197 हैं।

महाराष्ट्र ने रविवार को 3,623 ताजा कोविड -19 मामले दर्ज किए, जिससे गिनती 6,497,877 हो गई। सक्रिय मामलों की संख्या फिर से बढ़कर 50,400 हो गई।
राज्य में 46 मौतें भी हुईं, जिससे मरने वालों की संख्या 138,142 हो गई। पुणे और अहमदनगर में सबसे अधिक नौ लोगों की मौत हुई है। राज्य का ठीक होने की दर 97.04 प्रतिशत और मृत्यु दर 2.12 प्रतिशत है। दिन में कुल 2,972 मरीज स्वस्थ हुए। इसके साथ ही अब तक 63,05,788 लोग संक्रमण से उबर चुके हैं। मुंबई शहर में 357 नए मामले सामने आए और सात मौतें हुईं, जिससे इसकी संख्या 7,35,055 हो गई और घातक संख्या 16,022 हो गई।
